I beg of you all not to forget skanking, as well as the pogo and for larger groups, the mosh pit is always a blast! Get down!

The wowsvilleness of the Green-skinned Orion Slave Girl Dance and the animal frenzification of dancing cave women are not to be underestimated, either.

Sure, Vena was a fine green-skinned slave girl, but my heart belongs to Marta. (And she makes Spock nostalgic for nursery school??)

This could start a Star Trek Dance Epidemic if we're not very careful...

It's not what you look like when you do the things you do, it's what you're doing when you do the things it looks like you're doing.

Disturbing imagery. To me, an improvement over the 18 commercials and 472 movies that also use this song. But possibly not for everyone.

I can't believe that the Safety Dance hasn't been mentioned . . .

You're so right to have filled in that gap.

Let's dance in honor of the good old days when it was illegal to make a rock video that didn't have either a dwarf, a table being turned over in slow motion, an unexplained large domestic farm animal wandering through a mansion, or all three.

I loved those videos!

And also the movie with which we're dancing in their honor. It was not taken seriously at the time of its release, for some totally unaccountable reason. But it's really quite delightful.

But that won't stop me from asking. Because:

Now I want to dance. I want to win. And I want that trophy. So dance good.
