For heaven's sake, be careful with that. I know it seems like it's all
just fun and games when you're first starting out. But that's only because you're still mostly seeing it
from the outside looking in. It
always looks just as pretty as pretty can until you're right in the middle of it -- and after that, it's always just the same fucking story it always does. First, you'll be like: "Sure, c2w, I do a few casual
line dances on weekends, what of it?" Then you'll be all: "Okay, so maybe it's getting a little
more serious, now quit hassling me. It's not like anyone's
really getting hurt." Then boom, just like that, you're hooked, and all of a sudden
it's your wife and it's your life.
I mean, I'm sorry to be such a drag about it and everything, but you happen to be kind of important to me. Plus, you don't really want to end up spending all your time
selling it cheap for some guy you never even get to see just to keep The Horse off your back, do you? Well, all right, then. Fine. I apologize for the implication, and beyond that, I see no reason to dwell on it any further. I'm just glad to hear that you still have some sense left. Because, seriously, honey, it's so few steps from The Horse to the Pony, why, I could almost count them on the
the fingers of one hand. Though I might be a little bit off on the numbers. All I know for sure is that it's not safe to spend too much time
dancing on the edge.
