the haiku and limerick threads

are pretty amazing, made me laugh. Just wanted to let you all know, as I can't reply in the thread out of meter and I can't be bothered to write any poems right this moment.

Some of you are doing it wrong tho. The Haiku lack seasonal references and some of the Limeriks don't have enough lines.

Maybe so, but what the hell is going on? Now there's a sonnets only thread.

I'm gonna go post my one and only haiku. I don't think you can really write a haiku in english though, not strictly speaking, so we might have to loosen the conventions somewhat.
