It's a girl!

Postby Luposapien » Fri Jun 13, 2008 10:37 am

I've never been the most prolific poster here, so it's unlikely that my absence lately was much noted, but just in case you were wondering...

My (absolutely adorable) second daughter was born at 11:49 on Wednesday, May 28th. The family is doing wonderfully, and the lack of sleep has induced a not-entirely-unpleasant altered state of consciousness.

Anyways, with the summer rush at my job, I'll likely be reverting to lurker status for the most part, but I felt compelled to share.

Thanks for the congrats, Jeff.

Yeah. It's kinda like Fight Club, only without all the violence and anarcho-fascist politics.

Congratulations on Lupobaby, and whilst not the most prolific poster you have been noticed.

I sometimes wish I'd had kids but mostly I'm glad I didn't.

The first rule of Newborn-Having Kinda Like Fight Club, is that you talk about virtually nothing else other than Newborn-Having Kinda Like Fight Club. In part because it is such an incomparably beautiful thing. :)

I wish you and La Petite Mademoiselle Luposapienne every blessing life has to offer.

Thanks to all for the congratulations and well-wishes! I'm usually a bit reticent when it comes to putting personal information out on the web, but, as C2W pointed out, it's become difficult for me to talk about much else as of late. Perhaps I'll have a photo or two posted eventually, though subduing my paranoia enough to allow that may take some doing.
