Video at link...

"Security guards break in their nightsticks on a banner-waving soccer fan running across the arena, prompting players and fans to storm the field and beat up the guards."

Haha...Bet the stupid guards didnt realize that the banner-waver was an extension of the present Game Mob. Poor sobs...

If politics was Soccer we'd live in a perfect world.
Giustizia mosse il mio alto fattore:
fecemi la divina podestate,
la somma sapienza e 'l primo amore.

Quite a Cantona moment, shame we don't see more.

My friend was at a Biohazard gig once upon a time..
He climbed up on the stage, and a security goon hit him in the face with a metal pipe. (he still has a scar on his forehead).
Seeing this, the bands singer and bass player come up and give the guard a few good punches, then they stop playing, and give the security people some good verbal abuse and tell them to stop harassing their fans :D

Likewise, when Nick Toczek banned security from the gigs he promoted around Leeds in the 80s the violence stopped as we young punks learned how to police ourselves.

Aw you're getting me all nostalgic now. Then there was the Stiff Little Fingers gig when the band were getting pelted with beer cans and I jumped onstage, grabbed the guitarists mic and shouted "Hey bastards, throw your cans at me, not the band!" I was quickly grabbed and dragged off sidestage with a "Nice try mate," before being shoved back into the crowd. Hey I was 16, thirsty, and it was a very sweaty moshpit.

I think that was the same gig a girl I'd had my eye on told me she was a lesbian and I said "That's ok, I'm gay," "Really?" and we got it on for an hour or two, but I may be mistaken.

I'd better shut up.
