Prologue, intended for a Dramatic Piece of King Edward the Fourth

O FOR a voice like thunder, and a tongue
To drown the throat of war! When the senses
Are shaken, and the soul is driven to madness,
Who can stand? When the souls of the oppressèd
Fight in the troubled air that rages, who can stand?
When the whirlwind of fury comes from the
Throne of God, when the frowns of his countenance
Drive the nations together, who can stand?
When Sin claps his broad wings over the battle,
And sails rejoicing in the flood of Death;
When souls are torn to everlasting fire,
And fiends of Hell rejoice upon the slain,
O who can stand? O who hath causèd this?
O who can answer at the throne of God?
The Kings and Nobles of the Land have done it!
Hear it not, Heaven, thy Ministers have done it!

The greatest sin is to be unconscious. ~ Carl Jung

We may not choose the parameters of our destiny. But we give it its content. ~ Dag Hammarskjold 'Waymarks'

Dave: Danke und gute nacht, meine süßigkeiten.

Cid: Oh no! Dave, you're gonna get us all in trouble. Breaking the 'no caption, no word' rule again.

Eugene: Naturally.

Dave: This one is from Jarry's 'Black Minutes of Memorial Sand:'

And wheeling in the wind I raise, bare hands to death I pray: These weeping hours are bars of rain, to lock all dreams away.

Eugene: You would like that.

Dave: heh. Upon prismatic ripples lay reflected limbs that spread, like yew trees 'cross the lacquer sky, lips stained in dreams of red...

Eugene: Stained in dreams, or games.

Dave: Hey, good, Eugene.

Cid: Now, wait just a second here, Dave. You got it all wrong. I know my Black Minutes of Memorial Sand, and that was not said right.

Eugene: You're like Alice, Dave.

Cid: What?

Eugene: When Alice tries to recite 'how doth the little buzzy bee,' the words come out all wrong.

Dave: So photo-feel right near I can finesse ember in trace, hair and purry whispers fall to vine about her face, beautiful in vinyl glow on sleek divide, a keris veering wound down either side.

Eugene: A lacquer sky has a vinyl glow.

Cid: Hey! That last one wasn't from black minutes of memorial sand at all!

Eugene: No.

Dave: That was Link. Love that guy. See Cid, it's like this:

racing outer hill-line see-thru matic overgrown
schall-igelic body burning blue in new star zone
count mach seconds pet kitty set match to airship's wheel
kick up dirt red lines of speed weave every schon to steal

Eugene: Oh, that reminds me:

On even sea fixate hour tied fast tight clean
sleep one-life einhander sure whatever snobee
sloppy lover ice climber grindstorm it dragoon spears
so fumetsu play gandhara 7k galaxip tears.

Dave: huh. Look at you, getting all poety.

Cid: Ah... how about a story about a girl in a spacesuit and guy in a hazmat suit walking through the woods at night to watch fireflies without getting eaten by mosquitoes?

Dave: hm.

Eugene: That's pretty, Cid.

Cid: See, I can surprise you guys, too.

Eugene: We never doubted that, Cid.
Both his words and manner of speech seemed at first totally unfamiliar to me, and yet somehow they stirred memories - as an actor might be stirred by the forgotten lines of some role he had played far away and long ago.

Kissing Ghosts

Wake up hungry for the world
looking forward on today
running early, ever ready
getting busy you might say

With more lives, I'd be a poet
or I'd be a private eye
in one life I'd shoot that blood-Red Baron
right out of the sky. Now,

maybe, our games have changed us.
Could be we've always been like this
kissing ghosts, chomping cherries
and you know I never miss

Through it all remember
what Steve Wagner taught in school
giving Lessons of the Master
to the fighters of Fabul. He said:

Be resolved, in every moment
like a clear and cloudless sky. Then
play it like you really meant to
you may only get one try

When it's time, I hit the splitscreen
watch another Pac-Sunset
look ahead on living the next full day,
and I don't forget

----

link's evening star blessing

breeze on bendy grasses play
one makaimura summer day
from lychee tree, yashichi ray
no need to lead my hand a-stray
(it doesn't matter anyway)
I wait eyes closed my body lay
and come to be next phase of say
fair or fine it in I pray
for evening true and far a kay

a soliloquy basis

I try writing dripping
came up like a column
despair such the weather
be master does not matter
when and where we travel

all day and night, the pursuit of skill
Standing about in these days for the first time,
left Runbakura base
finally limb independent
processes run assembly
body movements so-called
combinatorial practice clogged

in my bakazu
yoreru and tsurareru
is not easily resolved
wanted to also
do you overcome the hirakinaori (joke)

I tried to change the thinking
sing another tempo
speaking , laughter, sneezing,
but going to happen is "yawn"

And I think that a further spread is likely
every move is basic naturally
may only be okonaere
"Noguchi gymnastics"

can not be fine finger control
and I think (of) you every day ("toothbrush")
I think you use "chopsticks".
I'm moving pretty fast.

believe hard
There is no tired hour
Even not numb
close in open cry
holding of the arms, head
in the hands
you have a natural stance
driven into yourself crowded in sense
practice what is not even
Oh, not even this

Accurate pulse
speed you feel
state different
I keep constantly changing.

let's give up stability and change
required by selfish convenience
instrument honest immature
musical player of the problem sounds

Thick closed in phrase such as I was
hard, but I think that it is not a mistake
it is not transmitted to the hand to hear
it is such a state
a natural posture
style performance
there is no concept of rest
brainwashed to system

close the language, does not hold
in presence of person
only the message
Pour the passion in style
digitized monitored
funny and natural,
hands leave the body
I hope that us thought
it result pleasant time.

occasionally people are opinion
request the bebop
Jisumonchi Shostakovich
the Japanese Mozart
say it partial to express sadness
Just crying together
wonder transmitted
a good actor does not
such a crappy thing.

the condition is better
in Latin America
I think on it each
(which, what) other what peace
hit anything but
not even each other
til Haigai dispensable
that thanks will not be
motivation
Both his words and manner of speech seemed at first totally unfamiliar to me, and yet somehow they stirred memories - as an actor might be stirred by the forgotten lines of some role he had played far away and long ago.
