Finest (only?) cinematic portrayal of a Larouchie in history.
"The universe is 40 billion light years across and every inch of it would kill you if you went there. That is the position of the universe with regard to human life."
last night i saw for the third time the absolute comedy genius Daniel Kitson doing his show, 66a Church Road
66A Church Road: A Lament, Made of Memories and Kept in Suitcases is a love story of sorts, that of a man for his rented flat in London's Crystal Palace.
the last one i saw again in perth last october was called 'We Are Gathered Here'
and in 2008 i saw 'The Impotent Fury of the Privileged'
all of them are the product of a clearly very intelligent, sensitive man who has a masterful use of the english language, i love of the best in humans and life and a horror at so many aspects of the modern world, each is a philosophical and questioning journey masquerading as brilliant comedy
from each i have emerged thoughtful, emotional, uplifted and inspired
the question is why, who, why, what, why, when, why and why again?
These guys stayed at my place in melbourne during a tour in 1990.
They were really nice guys, and great company. And somewhere I still have a joint that Phil gave me as they left. Its probably decomposed by now. I always meant to smoke it, then after a couple of years it became the "Juice Pigs Joint" and never got touched.
