Cid: Joel Hedge, and the legendary Steve Wagner just showed up.

Joel Hedge: Hey. I didn't know this bar has video games.

Ann: They even have Pengo, Steve.

Steve: Pengo rocks.

Dave: Better hurry up if you want to get a game in, Steve.

Joel Hedge: So Link isn't going to be dada anymore?

Cid: dada is dead!

Eugene: Watch your overcoats.

Ann: He's not that kind of dada.

Eugene: He's more like Merz.

Ann: No, Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Joel Hedge: Huh. I didn't realize that.

Cid: Did you hear? A UFO is coming to pick us up, Joel Hedge!

Dave: Alright. This is soo entertaining. So, we're out of here.

Cid: Happy Halloween!

Eugene: I'll miss you most of all, scarecrow.

Joel Hedge: Should I wave a towel, or something?

Cid: You know where to find us, Jack!

Steve: The shmup room at Galloping Ghost arcade?

Joel Hedge: heh. Good, Steve.

Ann: Bye, RI! (waves)

Dave: (lifts hand, palm open, facing out) Fygars, Rygars, rockets and slime.

Cats vanish in a moire distortion veil, leaving lots of cherry blossoms in their wake.
Both his words and manner of speech seemed at first totally unfamiliar to me, and yet somehow they stirred memories - as an actor might be stirred by the forgotten lines of some role he had played far away and long ago.

Trump seems like a guy you could have a beer with. Uh, except he doesn't drink. And uh, I don't like beer. Come to think of it, I don't like Trump either. So I guess the whole beer thing is out.

82-28: AD, this is so not a tag team, but when you do add such content, please provide content commentary…

viewtopic.php?p=655345#p655345

SRP: American Dream, I've received multiple complaints regarding the current page of copypasta in this thread. Now as I specified earlier, I am not going to mete out punishments over the quantity of articles copied and pasted bereft of commentary. But quality? That is what I have addressed with you numerous times already…

So, you want us to tell us what we think?

Sometimes, presenting no opinion of a copy/paste piece permit’s one to parse an unbiased assessment such as it is. Personally, I rarely comply with the plethora of posts that AD has placed here, and did not partake in the particular article questioned above, but for many more clicks than I care to count, AD has consistently added this kind of content… for context, I think - as a relevant repository of propaganda from a wide spread spectrum of points of view… a li’l like Slad - with her much more mainstream, seemingly consistent sorta schtick; but many, many times - as I work out the world we seem to share, they’ve both sent some wonderful, worthwhile, world-wide stuff I wouldn’t have seen otherwise anywhere else.

Perhaps, a republicly programmed - repressed - population is less problematic - and much more purposeful - than the renaissance citizenry in a free society; but to suddenly censor his possible response seems sorta fascist, don’t ya think?

In the interest of clarity: I'm confused: you're being sarcastic; you're not being sarcastic. Because it seems that you're not being sarcastic.

For you, minime, another oddity.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xCuFMcEamQ

Benny The Bouncer

Benny was the bouncer at the Palais de Dance
He'd slash your granny's face up given half a chance
He'd sell you back the pieces, all for less than half a quid
He thought he was the meanest
Until he met with Savage Sid

Now Sidney was a greaser with some nasty roots
He poured a pint of Guinness over Benny's boots
Benny looked at Sidney
Sidney stared right back in his eye
Sidney chose a switchblade
And Benny got a cold meat pie

Oh! what a terrible sight
Much to the people's delight
One hell of a fight

Sidney grabbed an 'atchet, buried it in Benny's head
The people gasped as he bled
The end of a Ted?

Well, they dragged him from the wreckage of the Palais in bits
They tried to stick together all the bits that would fit
But some of him was missing
And part of him arrived too late
So now he works for Jesus
As the bouncer at St. Peter's Gate
