It's actually quite sweet compared to a normal shiraz, I think (and it's the colour of a rose`), and I can't normally drink more than one glass of anything sweet. But watering it down with the ice does the trick. The old Greeks did that, I believe - watered down their wine to suit local drinking conditions.

Definitely a summer drink with the ice.

I figure 4 litres of beer was just about enough liquid to rehydrate me last night.

(And I know beer is only a temporary rehydration, and a net loss of water, but the bonus is you get to drink more beer.)

I have known of such fellows as these, on my travels. Such is the strength of soul in them, that they may court what another man might misname disaster, and drink it's draught full straight.

When they are done, they call for another...

In the Olden Times, the wuise men called them Australians.

I will have to try that, thanks for the tip.
It sure ain't summer where I am, it's rainy, cold & blustering outside, but I can sure pretend it is with a glass of that! :)

I enjoy several, ahem, budget Aussie wines here.

I'd have no trouble with the stubby, it's one reason why I've got a few extra curves over the last years, just love the name.

But I am way behind on my serving duties! You all know Dave will tend to you when I'm not on board. Ha!

Been at the pub in the 'bin all day. Went round to a mates to do some stuff, and it took ten minutes for us to pack up and go into town.

Many of these later

and I stopped in home realised I'd forgot to turn the computer off I'm dropping back down to his for a bit of a jam. And a couple more or some rum.

In case anyone wants to duck out for a quick one:

Enjoy.

I've been using Google Voice. Figured I would share the beauty of their transcription here at the bar. Doesn't it sound like a John Lennon song?

Don't stress too much, I'm sure there's plenty more where that came from.

Yummy, Joe. Cheers.

Some of us hit the chatroom of an eve (or morn) with our IRL libations. It's all very civilized until Ahabs shows up. (Sorry to miss you dear.)
Just FYI.
