Thanks for the hug--much needed today. How funny to wake up to a seagull's stare! A couple of days ago, I drove past Pixar and noticed a big figure of a seagull perched on the corner of the building! My inner kids took turns saying "MINE!" (from Finding Nemo) for at least a minute afterward *LOL*

Thank you, I need it too. LilyPat, you are so right about relational stress and nature being helpful.

^Yah she's got that right.

OK folks, would you like a drawing or a painting?

In 2011, I wrote about the demise of the powerful enclave of artists that was once the 619 Western building in Seattle, here: http://rigorousintuition.ca/board2/viewtopic.php?p=414746#p414746 and here: http://rigorousintuition.ca/board2/viewtopic.php?p=417315#p417315

The documentary filmmakers still need funds to finish their movie. They've got a kicksarter page: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/buskerdoc/the-hive-1?fb_action_ids=4940601785294&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=aggregation&fb_aggregation_id=288381481237582

They're offering some of my artwork as a benefit for donating. The great thing is, I've not given these works away, but will be paid for them if claimed by a donor. It's a win-win for the filmmakers and the artists involved, so please consider supporting the project.

Thanks and cheers!

Belated cheers to MacC, and thanks to P-dub and Twyla for a great Ladies Night of art, which included the real Saloon.

Cheers Perelandra! There was some really nice work on view last night, the defiant stare of Rembrandt most memorable.

I ended an 8 year relationship with my girlfriend on Sunday. So I guess I'll be hanging out here, and at real Saloons for a while. It feels so weird, doing whatever I want whenever I want and not asking permission or coordinating schedules, or fighting everyday about every little thing. I like it.

The clash of our personalities was draining so much of my time and energy, I feel like I've been running at 25% of my potential. I finally have time.

Hey Jack, and Thrnundtaxis and christforsale and any other NY RI-ers, I am back on the grid and would love to get together, now that I am free. Jimmy's Corner is calling:)
Both his words and manner of speech seemed at first totally unfamiliar to me, and yet somehow they stirred memories - as an actor might be stirred by the forgotten lines of some role he had played far away and long ago.

Due to mis-management, an iconic local Seattle bar is closing.

According to a former owner, Robert Anton Wilson was pied at the Comet Tavern.

My Dad left the physical about an hour ago.
I saw my Mum on Skype who had just lost her husband and partner of sixty years - it was like seeing grief and anguish concentrated like diamond.
My brothers are with her, I will be going there tomorrow.
Would like a nice mug of builder's tea, please :)

My sincere condolences to you and your family. I hope your dad had a long and fulfilling life. I'll raise a glass to him. All the builder's tea you want is on me, and a safe journey home to you!
