Saw it this afternoon. Loved it.

In addition to being funny, the story is also engaging, and appears to follow a somewhat similar storyline as the television series — although I've only seen 42 episodes of the original so far.

Even Jonathan Frid made a brief cameo at the party scene featuring Alice Cooper.

I want to see it again.

speaking of vampires, Underworld: Awakening (2012) is what it is, and is good at it.
