Our second was born just under three weeks ago, in a pool, in our kitchen. His (almost) five year old sister watched. And of course, she wasn't in the least bit fazed. (But some of the grown ups were.)

As for anti-authoritarianism, she told me recently that "there are too many rules in this world, dad." (we were arguing over bed time)

Not long after that, she blamed a decapitated rose we found outside our house on "the government". Although I'm assuming from the sly smile she was wearing that she pretty much just said it for her father's amusement.
