What the hell's a tata?

My eggplant capanata recipe:

-olive oil
-eggplant
-onion
-celery
-a good tomato sauce (sans sugar)
-olives (don't be skimpy)
-capers
-wine vinegar
-sea salt, black pepper, parsley, maybe some fennel, a little hot stuff if you're inclined

Fry it all up slowly; give it some time for the flavors to absorb. Melt some raw parmesan cheese in there if you're feeling it. Italian heaven.

I don't eat junk food!

I only eat fresh food, with as little processing as possible.

Freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, nuts, cereal products, milk, cheese, vegetables, beans and pulses, vegetables, salads, vegetarian soups, all sourced if possible from local sources, all organic if possible and budget allows.

Junk food indeed!*

The body is a holy temple, I take very seriously what I put into my body.

But I am sure I read somewhere that air is the best food.

* Although I do take white sugar in my tea, and I do have a soft spot for cakes of all kinds.
