If it's any solace to Boston, you wouldn't have had to travel clear against the continent again had Vancouver started Schneider.

Is there going to be a goaltending controversy for game 7? Schneider was on.

.

Is there anything better than a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Final? Every shift is going to be super-intense.

Schneider was on, but I expect Luongo to start. He's been on at home.

Brief assessment of the Canucks heard at the convenience store last night:

Fuckin' headcase team.

They're playing Luongo in Game 7. The Canucks would rapid-cycle into a full nervous breakdown over how wrong starting Schneider would make them feel.

I admire the Bruins for having way more character and fire in the belly than Vancouver, who seem awfully good at falling apart.

I do believe if Boston scores first in Van, they win the cup.

AAAAAAAAAHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHH FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKk i seriously thought last night's game was the end for this year!!!!

Ahh well. It actually hasn't been as obtrusive this year as in years past, so I'm good with it. :D

I can't imagine the level of jumpin-at-shadows stress and gettin-under-your-skin Luongo is feeling right now. And then Mason Raymond has a fractured vertebrae. Out for 5 months (even though this is the last game). Then that whole turn the other cheek thing by H Sedin at the end -- Boston was sending a message of pure intimidation. Boston is going to fucking be up for this while the Canucks are reeling. This game is going to be intense. Best finals I've ever seen as far as drama and hunger for the cup.

"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

Watched the riots at the Saloon, could not believe my eyes. My illusions of Canadians are completely shattered.

BTW Vancouver got flogged in the last 2 games. I guess the goalie had something stuck in his throat after all.

By the looks of the riot and the game I suspect Vancouver thought they had already won and just had to turn up to get presented with the cup.

Thats definitely not the way to approach finals.

Just ugly ugly ugly. I don't even give a fuck about the game or series anymore. I wished Vancouver had won obviously. But that was an embarrassing display of stupidity by its populace of youthful adults. I don't even think they'd do that shit in Alabama, LA, New Jersey, etc. Just an ugly display of mass stupidity and everybody all trying to get their mugs and what they were doing to go viral. Some definitely will. Just ugly and unfortunate. Most of Canada must be very embarrassed this morning.

Sorry for you guys. I don't think any less of y'all. But man, that was an embarrassing riot.

Word is, liquor store on Robson (for example) was looted completely clean during this.

Welcome to fascism Vansterdam, you're about to see it for any event that ever happens now. This shit don't fly for me and this shit will never fly again for anybody. I was in your corner, but this takes the cake among all the rest that went down. Unbelievable mass stupidity. (I'm only a few miles from you and consider Vancouver one of the friendliest big cities I've ever been to and a neighbor. Dunno anymore.)
