Madness Arriving

of course I include myself in the madness.....becoming possessed by whatever emotional wave is overcoming me...sorry everybody :(

Madness Arriving
And this reader note on The Creeping Madness is worth thinking about:

Observations, as the energies bathing the earth change and progress: a very specific trend is intensifying and spreading; it seems every time I turn around people are surprising me with their behavior. People are overwhelmingly becoming more and more consumed by emotion while becoming less and less rational. Because it's a gradual acceleration, most people don't even realize anything is happening. But *everywhere* people are becoming consumed by causes, activism, rushing together, breaking up, divorcing, etc., all of it emotionally based. This is not the normal stuff I typically ramble on about. It's becoming chronic. Not to the point where people can't function, but it hasn't reached its apex yet - maybe not for another year. People are just becoming possessed by whatever emotional wave is overcoming them. What form that takes is very individualized for each person, but the common trend is, left brained thinking is becoming less and less of a presence in daily life. Sometimes just pointing it out can have a big effect on prompting us to step back and think about what we're doing. Look at the people you come into contact with. On the whole people are behaving very differently than they did a year ago or five years ago or whatever. And it's getting worse by the day. In short, they're slowly going mad. And they'll never have a clue that anything is wrong, all the way to their last day.

What's the solution? Maybe there isn't one.

Sure there is...become a hermit (or hismit, depending on gender).

Wait a minute: this is a real ad? The Ron Paul tag and title were throwing me off.

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain is up with a new web ad this morning that’s generating a lot of buzz. It features campaign chief of staff Mark Block speaking straight to the camera about the wonders of Cain: “We’ve run a campaign like no one’s ever seen. But then, America’s never seen a candidate like Herman Cain.”

The spot ends with Block taking a long drag on a cigarette, then blowing smoke towards the camera. What does it mean? Cain was once a lobbyist for the tobacco industry, a job that has drawn media scrutiny in recent days. Perhaps this was Cain’s way of giving the one-finger salute to his critics. Or maybe it’s a contrast to Barack Obama, who went to considerable effort to hide his smoking habit during his presidential campaign, sneaking butts on the road to the Oval Office.

Go Herman! I love his smirk at the end. And the theme song:

He'll make you a pizza you can't refuse.

The whole world is going mad....stark raving mad...faster than the speed of sound :starz:

All that noise, and all that sound,
All those places I got found.
And birds go flying at the speed of sound,
to show you how it all began.
Birds came flying from the underground,
if you could see it then you'd understand?

I knew I'd seen him somewhere before (though why this needs to play for nearly two minutes, I don't know):

I've seen the future, baby...

Herman Cain's keeping his worthless ass in the media spotlight to become a big worthless celebrity and sell his worthless book. In America, this is eminently sane.
