Thanks everybody. Like I said, I just had to say something on her behalf and let her be known that I expect there to be a heaven in this universe and may I see her again. There have been a couple of animals in my life who I credit with saving mine. Lupe was the one who stuck with me through thick and thin.
Well today, I have an appointment to euthanize her at 5:30. The lady (ex) texts me and says she can't find her and that she figured she had gone off to die. She searched the neighborhood from stem to stern. Well someone found her and called Seattle Animal Control and was picked up in what they said was "extreme distress". She had somehow wandered five blocks from home. She always stuck to the garden when healthy. But what's crazy is is that she couldn't even walk across the room two days ago. When I said goodbye to her today, she had utterly no strength.
Adios, Lupe.
Thanks for the photos, Pickle Pizza.
Anyways, off she is. And again, thank you, my friends here for caring. Tis what tis. . .
