It's rap music. This is a short film many years in the making.

Hey Wom - I'm working my way through your catalog - which rappers do you draw your influence from? Who's yer fave? Point me towards some pure pleasure.

I have definitely lost track of who has influenced me, I just try to be really damn good. (It is always a trip to have other people tell me what my influences are.)

In terms of folks I’d recommend, that is easier to answer: The Black OpEra, F. Stokes, Brother Ali, Blu, Chance the Rapper, Curly Castro, Teddy Faley, Fresh Daily, Milo, and I suspect many on RI would appreciate Greydon Square. A special mention goes to the uber-literate and very fun PremRock, whose latest rap project is a Tom Waits tribute, Mark's Wild Years.
