Listeining to it since has made me literally cry on numerous occassions.
The lyrics, the voice, the production of the song, the sublime melody, the sparking of the imagination of children which we all naturally once had ( where did that go?), but probably most importantly the intention.
When I hear Nat King Cole sing that song, what I hear is a man who wished me "merry christmas" in a deeply personal, almost spirtiuall way that I could never probably replicate.
So I stole his song to try and get my message across.
