PSA (Public Service Announcement) for those whom care...

I know many RI's use RSS feeds, particularly Jack Riddler among others; thought this may be of use: (Side note: It just never occurred to me to use RSS with RI in the mix, however I may now try it with the following in mind)

Digital Hygiene 101: Take Control Over Your Feeds to Regain Mindfulness

A digital feed is an online stream of content which gets updated as new content is pushed by the feed’s sources. Generally, content is created by users on the social media platform, to be consumed by their followers.

All popular social media platforms feature some type of feed: Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Facebook. Operators of these platforms benefit from increased engagement by their users, so they employ techniques designed to achieve that end. Unfortunately, they often do so at the expense of their users’ well-being. Below are 7 rules to help you retain control over your screen time, without having to leave social media for good, ordered from most important to least important.

Cheers! :thumbsup

An interesting text nevertheless. Imagine if FB offered a real choice to the users. Like, to just specify everyone you see and to see them chronologically, like RSS and the original Internet offered (to a much smaller group of people who knew how to operate it). What the fuck are we all doing there? With Jeff as Prisoner No. 1, do note. The problem is there and Twitter is where the general audience went. Sort of!
