Bulls**t Protectors

Postby heath7 » Wed Aug 24, 2005 2:34 pm

The other night I was watching dubya's VFW convention speech on C-Span, and I kept pointing out to my wife this consistent jaw twitch the prez had. It seemed like a nervous tic, out of aggravation. He really seemed to have no control over it.

As his speech moved along the *tic* became more pronounced, and Bush's aggravation grew more visible; I couldn't help but ponder, 'wonder what's bugging him right now.'

I believe I may have found an answer...

Apparently 'many' of the veterans present wore these things

It reminds me, in stark contrast, of the usual scripted Bush events where his supporters shout down grieving mothers of war dead, who wear 'unappealing' t-shirts to the disgrace of the great master, and are then ushered out and arrested by the gestapo.

Let's see them arrest these veterans Someone is a genius for coming up with the idea; my hat's off to them.

Bush was forced to stare directly into the protests on the streets, and in the Salt Palace that day in Salt Lake City(of all places). Let's hope its only the beginning of such obvious contempt for our president and all the leadership of Washington D. C.

Bush

If he ever had to face -- really face -- the feelings so many people have for him, rather than having them be hidden away out of his sight, he'd dry up like a spider in a dusty web.

I'd only heard about the ear things, thanks for the pic!

My old roomie and I used to make fun of Bush's ears, which seemed to become pointy whenever he got taken totally off guard. We'd joke that it was his demonic form bristling under the chimp costume..
Scary now to find out we were right! .. at least figuratively.
