BUT ALSO--there was a graphic of an ad for a weird/funny pair of pants with a strategic elephant-trunk-like pouch (for cod-piece like effect)--but the graphic's gone now.

Just trying to figure out what happened--if something ate my post AND the graphic, or what.

I definitely remember pepsified's post. The graphic is still there, maybe he just can't see it. Does anyone know what could have happened? Did somebody delete it for some reason?

Shit, I hate when this happens. No, I wasn't reading that thread and didn't see pepsified's post. (And I don't see it now.) The graphic, is that the one in lightningBugout's post? Because that's showing as a broken link for me.

OMH and annie, please weigh in here. pepsified sent another pm yesterday requesting info as to what happened to his comment. I told him it was a possibility that one of us had deleted it accidentally, as happened to OMH, but I can't be sure until I hear from you guys. He's wondering if he said something wrong.

It is possible it was a self-delete. A few weeks ago I saw a new post from Hugh suddenly disappear, and I pm'd him to let him know and assure him that I hadn't deleted it. (You know, we do have a history!) He wrote back that he'd changed his mind about posting it and had deleted it himself.

It's not reassuring to think the board's buggy, but I wouldn't want anyone to think we're deleting posts without cause.
