I received this pm from him:

Hey, sunny - please delete my account! No hard feelings and I'll still visit. But as a reader only. Thanks in advance - please don't PM me back, just make it so.

To which I responded:

First, because I want you to reconsider. What happened? Is there anything I can do?

Second, I do not have the power to deactivate accounts. You'll have to contact Jeff is you really must, but I hope you don't.

cheers
Sonya

Here is his response:

sunny, I'm kinda under attack. not here but from elsewhere - the usual suspects and others - and i just want to cover tracks.

Please tell jeff, no hard feelings, but these folks are thorough.

I don't know what's up between him, de, et, kk and whoever else is out there but something IS up and I want no further part of it. I'm surprised it's not addressed on the forum itself but I can see why it might not be. Thanks and...see ya!

So I suppose you should do as he asks, but I am sort of curious as to how and why he's under attack due to "what's up" with the de/kk nexus of weird, and if the rest of us should worry.

I got a pm asking the same thing. Why the fuck bubblefunk?

I'll write him, asking if he can give me any more information (for our sake as much as his). I'll suggest editing his profile (changing email address, for instance), as something short of leaving. If that isn't enough I'll deactivate his account.

I've written him:

Can I ask first what the concern is? You sound like you're at immediate risk of some sort, which worries me, both for you and for the rest of us. The more specific you could be, the better, and the more I may be able to help.

Also, I'll suggest that short of leaving, we could edit your profile to increase your feeling of security, if that's the issue.

Finally, of course, if that's not enough, I'll deactivate your account and wish you well.

Got this:

Thanks Jeff, I appreciate your efforts.

I don't want to get into it but I can say that due to my leaving one post on DE's board, I am being trailed across the web. By who? Well, I don't know who's who any more! I really don't want to say any more, and I'm at no immediate risk (AFAIK). But I don't like it, and I don't like what I read on et's board (might I ask YOU to be specific about what's going on with you and these characters?), and I don't like kk, or the Amazon page, or untermuyer, or Anomaly Forum, and I don't really care what happened in the past - I want OUT. I've been closing accounts and deleting stuff all morning.

You have my e-mail, please feel free to address this with me, it goes no further than between US. I've never been less than straight up with you & sunny and I sure would appreciate some clarity, even if it does no more than to set my mind at ease.

I wish you well too - and I'm grateful to be able to just visit the forum. Thanks man.

FWIW, about et. He's "gone rogue" (his words). When he began his blog he assured me it wasn't what it looks like and he still had our back, but after a few posts I told him that I don't see what difference it makes that it wasn't. I also asked him to lay off c2w, that she's not the bad guy. He didn't take that well. He seems convinced now that she's "Tina"/Kate Coe/Borg Queen.

If you haven't seen it, it's here: http://vrooooomm237.wordpress.com/

Willow told me a few weeks ago she was glad et was back but she wouldn't want him as an enemy. Well...

Wow, I really am clueless. I didn't know any of this was going on. I hate to hear this about et and I really don't get it.

BTW, who IS c2w? I've heard hints here and there that she's a recognizable figure but I was never curious enough to ask. It's fine if you don't want to answer but be assured I wouldn't make the info public.

c2w is quite anxious about safeguarding her identity so I'll have to respect that.

A few weeks ago, after "Tina" removed the most offensive posts about et from the kenoma blog, he expressed to me surprise that she could show "sympathy." I told him that hurting someone, and then removing the hurt, isn't sympathy; it's conditioning. That prompted him to close his account here, because he thought he'd lost my trust. Not exactly that, but that he was chatting hours daily with DE, after warning me just weeks before against anyone who chatted with DE, meant I had lost confidence in his judgement.

He says he's 'flipped' whatever that means.

Fwiw, I emailed et and asked him for clarifications and didn't get many. To be honest, I asked him with an open mind. If there are evil shenanigans going on at RI I wanted to know about it. As far as I can tell he's angry and hurt right now, for whatever reason, and lashing out. He's allowing himself to become a conduit for DE's paranoia and hopefully he'll right himself. (oops, forgot about the 'goodbye' post on his blog so maybe he already has.)

Anyway, did you deactivate bubblefunk? Even more questions I'd like the answers to..sigh.

He's a reactive guy with a flair for melodrama. He felt he lost my trust, and I wouldn't share his suspicions of c2w. DE was happy to indulge him. It's a guilty pleasure to observe DE be so wrong, but I'm sorry that et chose to cast his lot with him. It looks like both et and kenoma are folding their tents, so this may be the end of it. Or more likely, this phase.

Anyway, did you deactivate bubblefunk?

Yes. We've been emailing, and he sounds less spooked than he'd been.
