"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

Poor Seamus!
a secret code word?

Marmot! I have never, nor would I ever, pose as another poster. Honestly, I'm offended by the suggestion.

Eat your words.

_Sunday Brunch for Seamus_

Postby marmot » Sat Apr 18, 2009 1:08 pm

Mr. OBlimey, the ladies on the West Coast were suggesting (having sometime) a Sunday Brunch for Seamus to accommodate ourselves to your time (you're five hours ahead of me, and eight hours ahead of them).

I trust all is well with you and your family.

Hope to catch you @RigChat soon.

British Brunch?

Postby annie aronburg » Sat Apr 18, 2009 1:12 pm

Noon Pacific Standard time, is that evening for you?

Hopefully more of our members from the European time zones will pop round for real time discussion.

I do some pretty bad impersonations of the marmot, myself.

Seamus! Jump into RigChat if you've got the time. I'm there now.

Here's what I just now found in RigChat after Lingr shut down for maintenance:

We’re shutting down, and are no longer accepting new users. Please read our shutdown announcement for details. Visit here to request export for your data.

Announcing Goodbye from Lingr

We're sad to announce that Lingr will be shutting down on May 31, 2009.

It's been great pleasure that so many wonderful people have joined and gotten to know each other here at Lingr. We want to give our wholehearted thanks to everyone who gave us compliments, suggestions, and criticism- Lingr couldn't have existed without your feedback.

Lingr has stopped accepting new sign-ups effective immediately. From now until May 15th, you can continue to send new messages, and room owners can visit here to request export of your room data.

On May 16th, an email with export data download instructions will be sent to users who requested it, and you will have until May 31st to download your exported data.

Again, thank you everyone, for being part of the Lingr community.

The Lingr Team

What's the old IRC room? Let's use that. I'll search for the link.
