for this:

populistindependent got it:

"Well at least now we know that this mysterious "banking conspiracy" we keep hearing about and that seems to be a key issue with many Paul supporters, is nothing new and is just the same old same old story. It is identical to what I heard from John Birch Society people 40 years ago and also to what various groups were promoting in different places in Europe before WWII."

Before I locked the thread I added some passages from a 2003 piece contrasting the new pseudo-anti-Semitism (criticism of Israeli crimes) with the resurgence of old real thing in America, that hits on Larouche and seems to have anticipated Paul.

I don't like Israel's right-winged politics, but I like my own government's extreme right-winged politics even less. And I think that's what these kind of people use against us, trying to suck us in, using that squirming feeling in the bowels of those of us who know what's happening is so wrong, pairing that disgust with their own old hatreds. It's some sort of psychological process that they capitalize on, I guess maybe a sort of projection, not sure what else to call it, which allows the unwary to blame someone else for what our own people are responsible for.

But it's such a fine line to tread.

And treading it bores and tires the fuck out of me, too!

I don't know if this is my projection, but I blame Ron Paul. :)

Blame away! It's interesting, tho, to watch and see who is enamored of him.
