I can no longer be a moderator

Postby sunny » Sun Apr 11, 2010 1:46 pm

I knew I shouldn't have agreed to continue in the first place. I guess I didn't want to hurt your feelings, Jeff. I know I'm not much as a mod lately but you've always shown me great appreciation and have always given me your support and I thank you.

I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me but now it's time for me to go. I have become ineffective and I simply no longer have a clue as to board dynamics. Many things have annoyed the hell out of me but I felt I didn't possess enough knowledge of the situation to render any kind of opinion or perspective.

And, I have to admit, I'm tired of thining about deep politics and high weirdness. I'm just trying to live my life to the best of my ability. I know everything stinks but that doesn't mean our own households have to be gloom and doom.

I'll still be around because RI is the best source on the web for breadth and depth of information.

Thanks Jeff and all the best to you and yours.

I would like to delete the thread in here about my daughters dream, is that ok? viewtopic.php?f=38&t=17823

Thanks for your service and sound judgement, sunny, you've more than earned your rest. I've deleted the thread as requested. I'll edit your member privileges in the next day or two to remove your name from the mod rolls.

Do you have a suggestion for whom you think may make a good and willing moderator? Barracuda, please let me know your thoughts too.

Sunny, I hope you keep posting now and then, but best of luck with your home and family.

Jeff, I'll think about the question of good candidates. Hmmm.
