FYI,

NeonLX created a thread last week about a person in his life. He gave her an assumed name, but the thread ended up going places he wanted to avoid, and he requested that the thread be deleted.

Here are his PMs to me:

Dear Mr. Dazzling,

Would it be possible to delete the whole "I know Teela Brown" thread that I started? I had something very odd happen today to confirm that I should not have opened my stupid yap about the subject in the first place. I really want to put things back correctly and I think deleting the thread will do that. So please consider it for my sake. I think I uncovered something I wasn't meant to.

At this point, I told him that yes, it's possible to delete a thread, but that I wanted him to take some time to really consider it before I actually deleted it in the heat of the moment.

Here was his response.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Yeah, I am certain i want to pull the plug on that thread. Things turned to crap on me in a big way. This is all very weird.
