Guilty pulp pleasures?

Right now, along with some other "serious" material, I'm reading Star Wars: Darth Plagueis by James Luceno. Hey! I know I know, but Luceno is a half decent writer -- at least as far as star wars extended universe yarns go...

What are some of the guilty reading pleasures you might find yourself trying your best to hide while you ride the train?

Heavy Metal magazine. Why do they have to put half-naked women on every cover? :(

I read alot of the Alien extended universe novels once - I have no excuse to offer - they had to shamelessly rework one when Alien 3 came out & killed off the Aliens characters - paradoxically you can have good writers doing very crap books

I recently listened to all 40 plus hours of CRYPTONOMICON goodness by Neal Stephenson - fucking AWESOME! So not really guilty pleasure ... plus I wasn't lugging around the HUGE thick paperback or hardcover but rather my day job fisher-price toy of a digital player:

I've been listening to Annie Jacobsen's AREA-51. Got a ways to go ... stopped cuz I wanna take notes while browsing thru my physical copy.

Now I'm listening Whitley Strieber's 2012: THE WAR FOR SOULS which is pretty cheesy pulp, kind of a Man in the High Castle meets War of the Worlds.

Incidentally - there's a Heavy Metal live action tv-series coming out. Metal Hurlant Chronicles.
