Do you know who decided to remake a 1957 western with the title, '3:10 to Yuma?'

What does that evoke to a high school student?
What devices in that title do this?
...and does that match my assertion that military recruiting is a near constant subliminal theme coming from Hollywood which will find old stuff to rerun or make it from scratch?

Do you know who thought that the topic of firemen's healthcare would make a great comedy called 'Chuck and Larry' just when Michael Moore's 'Sicko' showed it as a 9/11 tragedy?

If you do, I'd like their number, please.

Thanks, Philip.

Having just one instance of confusion between TV and reallife does in fact prove the point(that the subconscious mind cannot differentiate between what is seen in real life and what is observed on television), there is nothing illogical about it, it actually couldn't be any more cut and dry, black and white and easy to understand.

maybe someone else can help me explain this in another way that would be easier to understand....

Why don't YOU actually find out, instead of asking a rhetorical question and pulling an imaginary answer out of your ass?

How about the recent movie "Dodgeball" Hugh? Clearly a KH intended to distract people from your forum debating style. :)

I'm so glad this thread exists. I watched BUG last weekend, and as soon as it was over headed to RI to see if there had been any comment upon its release, because I desperately needed to vent.

I agree with the op and several others, intentional or not, the movie is a shot into the heart of any mc activist's toolkit. I have used terminology and references not too different from those of the insane main character, about experimentation, Project Paperclip, etc. I knew as soon as I saw this film, that the next reaction I might get from people could very well be instant fear of me, rather than disbelief, and that is hard enough.

Another terrible part of the movie is towards the end as he coaches the Judd character to remember and connect all of the dots. It's not too far off from the idea that everything that happened to mc vics is stored somewhere in the brain and just needs to be accessed. The movie discredits that concept and process.

I rented this movie from my local video store. I also happened to notice that evening a few more recent titles involving murderous characters who have DID.

All those screenwriters who pull their plot devices from our memoirs or steal our journal drawings, with no other thought in their heads except: "Hey this is entertaining", I hope they rot in hell.
