Elton John & Leon Russell: The Union

The Union

Since Elton John got such bad press (and deservedly so) for his whorish decision to perform at Rush Limbaugh's wedding, I figured a little balance is in order. Plus I need to live up to my nom de plume from time to time.

This record promises to be a career renaissance for EJ. Guest artists include Neil Young, Brian Wilson and Booker T. Jones. Features songs written by Elton John, Bernie Taupin, Leon Russell and T-Bone Burnett, produced by Burnett.

-That's just a word, Marlowe. We have that kind of world. Two wars gave it to us and we are going to keep it.
