Your clip is horrifying. Geeze louise! I don't know what is going on and have never seen this before, so I was especially shocked to see this girl crying like this in front of all these clapping and shouting people. The people who produced this show didn't have the advantage over me of being drawn into it through the characters or any of the other usual modes of "interest". <br><br>The purpose of my putting up my clip is to show people here that Americans are not the only ones getting screwed and dumbed down. And to show them that people who are not aware of what is going on are saying the same things about their govts. <br><br>Amazing how thousands of miles away, that first woman on the street parroted the neo-con's meme of if you're not doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about. ugh. <p></p><i></i>

It's from the TV show "Big Brother", the show is the epitome <br>of pop voyerism and the surveilance society, the worst offender for mainstreaming these technologies into pop culture and glorifying "dumbed down" jesters.<br><br>I changed the clip to give you a better idea. <br><br>--------------------------------------------------<br><br>As for the BBC report, it's pretty frightful. I'd place money they interview 100 people to get those few choice comments, in order to make it seem like that reaction is normal.<br><br>AJ has a better clip of the ignorant person on the street in Terror Storm. Street vendor near the 7/7 bombing " I think we should give up some freedoms for liberty"... <br> <p></p><i></i>

I remember the clip from AJ, that was strange. If I remember correctly, she made the same statement more than one time.<br><br>I hope they had to ask a whole lot of people to get what they wanted for their clips, but seeing as how infused with cameras the place is, I don't know.<br><br><br> <p></p><i></i>
