Question for our IT geeks...

Several years ago I captured a screenshot from google earth or one of their mapping services, so my question may be moot.

When I plug in the coordinates or click the old link I saved, a newer map now appears, but the area of my focus has been disturbed by development that's taken place during the interim. Is there anyway of recovering the older online map?

Are older maps cached anywhere?

The image is of an extraordinary previously undiscovered geoglyph.

Thanks for any information you may be able to offer.

Thank you Dr. Evil. You're not all bad after all!

I'll have to wait until I can get to another computer with a faster than my 28.8kb home connection to try it. I'll let you know if I'm successful. If not, I'll have to upload my screenshot, which I really do not want to do, to a free photo-sharing site and then post it here.

So I came across a photo in a [urlhttp://blog.timesunion.com/chuckmiller/the-fagbug-and-vaudeville/21946/]newspaper blog[/url] and wanted to post it to the Images Only thread, but became frustrated trying. The photo is hosted on Flickr here:

Whoops, I forgot to ask if it's possible to post Flickr sourced photos and if it is, how does one do this? Thanks.
