London bombing: mysterious 'terror website'

It never fails... whenever something like this happens, the source is almost always given as "a terrorist website" or "a jihad website" or "an Islamic extremist website", etc., etc..... The URLs to these sites are never given, of course. And they also usually add that the text or the video in question only popped up briefly, and then disappeared again. How convenient that the right people were at the right page of the right site at the right time! So what IS this website that posted this alleged taking-credit by Al-Qaida? Did anyone think to get a screenshot of it before it vanished? And does anyone REALLY believe that the CIA couldn't trace this site back to its owners if they really, really wanted to? There's absolutely zero chain of evidence here. Something blows up, the Goverment immediately says that some website says Al-Qaida did it, that settles it. Since when is what some anonymous website says taken as absolute gospel? The Bush administration's usual response to conspiracy-theory accusations is "you can't believe anything you read on the internet".

Thanks, Pam! I'd seen that screenshot reproduced elsewhere, but so small that I didn't realize it was a screenshot. Looks like it was a pop-up window with no address bar, which is of course also verrrry convenient. I liked what someone posted on that link you gave: "Why would Al-Qaida bomb London AFTER Blair announces plans to withdraw troops from Iraq?" A very good question indeed.

Doesn't it seem incredibly, stupendously odd that an anonymous and obscure claim providing -zero- proof of detailed specific knowledge of or connection to a terrible crime is seized-on as highly-credible evidence of something by reps. of the GB and US governments and 'others' (news, military and policy analysts) with a vested-interest in a pro-war agenda, while generally claiming that anything posted on the internet must be rigorously confirmed before it's accepted as true? I mean, JeeZ, what a fickle double-standard. And also -- Gosh, there's WAY more substantiated evidence that Al Qaeda was Made in the USA and controlled by the CIA via Pakistan's ISI. I mean, this is like an open secret among those who have done more than just casual reading on what Al Qaeda is. The sheeple need a -Name- and a -Target- for their directed hate focus. That's probably why Zarqawi has been elevated as near mythic enemy-cult status. I see an awful lotta spin-spin-spin going on, and I'm mighty suspicious of what's put out for mass-public consumption -- with damn good reason. More ordinary citizens need to start watching these sites so that differing takes on the evidence can be put out there before the mass-media official story gets its stranglehold. I'm a little concerned that itshappening.com has gone down in the last few minutes....

Someone posting as anonymous claiming to be from some mythical al qaaaaeeeeeeeeeeeddaaa cell, no quetions asked, no investigation, trial and guilt accepted by these mainstream media presstitutes. Who gains again i wonder, who could have done that? It makes no difference, the impact and mythicals have been 'proven' to mrs and mrs jones, it works and we know it works and thats why 'they' do it.
