Tears for Fears - Head Over Heels

I wanted to be with you alone
And talk about the weather
But traditions I can trace against the child in your face
Won't escape my attention
You keep your distance with a system of touch
And gentle persuasion
I'm lost in admiration could I need you this much
Oh, you're wasting my time
You're just wasting time

Something happens and I'm head over heels
I never find out till I'm head over heels
Something happens and I'm head over heels
Ah don't take my heart
Don't break my heart
Don't throw it away

I made a fire and watching burn
Thought of your future
With one foot in the past now just how long will it last
No no no have you no ambition
My mother and my brothers used to breathe in clean in air
And dreaming I'm a doctor
It's hard to be a man when there's a gun in your hand
Oh I feel so...

Something happens and I'm head over heels

And this my four leaf clover
I'm on the line, one open mind
This is my four leaf clover

One little boy, one little man,
Funny how time flies.

(If I were truly out of my mind, if I didn't think there was just some townie on the crew who got the director to insert a little in-joke, then I might view the chimp with the Red Sox shirt as a timeless personal wink at me, lol.)

It's tough to handle this fortune and fame
Everybody's so different, I haven't changed

They say I'm crazy but I have a good time
I'm just looking for clues at the scene of the crime
Life's been good to me so far

I probably cannot express how much I love that song, and I have a feeling the themes will become a little more relevant to me in the near future. I especially love the bridge/break synth thing...the sound of so much epiphanizing, the sound of an epiphany chamber...the WTF Chamber, lol. If only there weren't that flock of wah-wahs shit at the end. Brilliant song though. Walsh and the Eagles are one of the most unfairly dismissed bands by music intelligentsia.
