I do believe he is...

I mean. It's fun. But I want you to rewatch it now, but imagine you're Ray Bradbury watching "FUCK ME RAY BRADBURY" - that concept makes this the greatest internet video ever... Here's Ray Bradbury's reaction to watching FUCK ME RAY BRADBURY and Susan Gerbic-Forsyth, her friend Matt Edward showed it to him. This has serious ruleage in tow!

Rachel Bloom has made an old man very happy, and in so doing, she has made the rest of us that little bit happier too. I applaud her public spirit, her creativity, her love of literature, and her breasts.

Half of them i posted have been posted before , but this might be new. Possibly:

Gil Scott Heron - B Movie

Scott-Heron's Jamaican father, Giles "Gil" Heron, nicknamed "The Black Arrow", was a football (soccer) player who, in the 1950s, became the first black athlete to play for Glasgow's Celtic Football Club.

Haha. A black American figurehead for the Catholic community in Glasgow in the 50s.
I don't envy him the role. Heard he was a good player, though. It's quite possible there was less hate back then than there is now, over here. But I wouldn't bet on it.

The Days, The Hours - Watts Prophets:

Mr. Cowbell, I forgot to say thanks for the Bradbury link, and that awesome picture. It's appreciated. Cheers.

Laodicean, yours is quality. It's both accurate and enjoyable.

Streeb, I love you, but your main piece on this page is sung by a young Billy Idol. I'm afraid that's unacceptable. :bigsmile

I beg your indulgence, Mr. OtherLeg - it was a decision that was not taken lightly. But I didn't know there was even such a thing as "Gimme Some Truth" until I heard it on the b-side of this:

... so credit where credit's due, all KP Salted Peanut ads and Rebel Yelling aside.

We'll see you next week on another Top of the Pops 2, I'm Streeb Wright, goodnight!

You Tube Symphony Orchestra

VIMEO NOTES. The Video Department at YouTube (owned by Google, so really, the gang at Google) came up with an idea of inviting orchestral musicians around the world to try out for a 96 person symphony orchestra that would play the debut of Tan Dun's piece Internet Symphony #1 (Eroica) at Carnegie Hall. Thousands entered, and a lucky 96 were selected from 30 countries around the world to play at Carnegie Hall.

The musicians only had two days to practice, so YouTube enlisted the help of composer Michael Tilson Thomas to bring them up to speed and get them ready for the performance. Norm Magnusson at Google hired Tim Malieckal to put together a highlight reel of the weekend, giving the audience a quick look at the endeavor.

YouTube Symphony Channel.
Art will be the last bastion when all else fades away.
