I heard a song tonight in a restaurant, very vaguely below the noise of the Friday night chatter, and it made me think of these two tracks. I don't know anything about music but is that plaintive kind of slip between octaves (is that what it is?) called something? I'd be thrilled by any suggestions along the same line. I love the one by The Streets - it came out at a pretty good time for me.
