This video is offered because what I feel are grotesque, animated images rather balance the voice and lyrics and instrumentation. Or, maybe it's just me :).

    Schism | Tool

    LYRICS.
I know the pieces fit cause I watched them fall away
    Mildewed and smoldering, fundamental differing,
Pure intention juxtaposed will set two lovers souls in motion
Disintegrating as it goes testing our communication
The light that fueled our fire then has burned a hole between us so
We cannot see to reach an end crippling our communication.

I know the pieces fit cause I watched them tumble down
No fault, none to blame it doesn't mean I don't desire to
Point the finger, blame the other, watch the temple topple over
To bring the pieces back together, rediscover communication.

The poetry that comes from the squaring off between,
And the circling is worth it
    Finding beauty in the dissonance.

There was a time that the pieces fit, but I watched them fall away
Mildewed and smoldering, strangled by our coveting
I've done the math enough to know the dangers of our second guessing
Doomed to crumble unless we grow, and strengthen our communication.

Cold silence has a tendency to atrophy any sense of compassion.

    Between supposed lovers
    Between supposed lovers

And I know the pieces fit (x8)
Art will be the last bastion when all else fades away.

While I am in my tiny kitchen doing my wee chores I either listen to BBC R4 or PLANET ROCK, on my small eco friendly dabs radio.

You CAN listen online to both of those, its brilliant.

R4 is a mixed bag of course, but you can learn a lot from a wide variety of viewpoints;

And for anyone who loves old style classic ROCK, (and of course for anyone who loves PLANET earth, which is of course a ROCK, so loving the Earth means I DO love PLANET ROCK ha ha!);

Rant And Roll

Rant and roll,
Heart speak from the spirit,
Say it loud so everyone can hear it.
Say what you mean,
Mean what you say,
Rant and roll when you feel that way.

Predator views are way too tragic
Mother earth gives us power,
Father sky makes us magic,
Life doesn’t have to be bitter,
Even when it’s not always sweet.
Synchronicity is the rendezvous,
When magic and power meet.
And while we spoke of many things, fools and kings
This he said to me
"The greatest thing
You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved
In return"

    The Spark | Catch 22

    LYRICS.
Before the dawn is when it seems most cold.
But as sure as the sun rises in the east, we know that
the stream of evolution is a constant flow,
and the current evolution says that I should really go.

Don't you know that every seed wants to grow?
    We can't stay underground forever.
They can cut us off as soon as we begin to show.
What they don't know is that the roots still grow.

When the roots pop up... [repeat]

They can try with all of their might to push us down to the ground,
but I know we'll be all right (right?)
They mean to break my spirit through this exile,
but I can use this time to further refine and fortify my style.

Don't you know that every seed wants to grow?
    We can't stay underground forever.
They can cut us off as soon as we begin to show.
What they don't know is that the roots still grow.

When the roots pop up... [repeat]

The world that we're all living in is in need
of a plan for the brotherhood of man.
So I'm off and running fast as I can,
and the antidote I'm bringing is the pen in my hand.

Don't you know that every seed wants to grow?
    We can't stay underground forever.
They can cut us off as soon as we begin to show.
What they don't know is that the roots still grow.

When the roots pop up... [repeat]

We're finally doing all the things we were meant for!
We're finally saying all the things we should say!

When the roots pop up... [repeat]

Enough Is Enough | Chumbawamba LIVE 1993

    LYRICS.
    Open your eyes
    Time to wake up
Enough is enough is enough is enough
Give the fascist man a gunshot

Trying an trying again to get this damn thing done
    It can’t done
Come kill the fascist with a gun
’cos it’s stopping us from unity
    We cannot see reality
Just vanity insanity fusion cannot stand it see
No man fascist man will ever get me outta the land
So understand fusion plan to stop them with a bang
We sang and sang to make the people all unite
Not fight but fight because the leaders don’t think right
You burnt us in the part you know it won’t happen again
So black and white take a stand and all try to defend
all of the people and the children who are living in the past
Just blast and blast don’t make the fascist man last

    Open your eyes
    Time to wake up
Enough is enough is enough is enough
Give the fascist man a gunshot

On and on and on you the feeling’s so strong
    So long
    It’s wrong
    I’m telling you it’s wrong
Destruction confusion and blaming it on the colour
I wonder in horror ’cos the people start to follow
All the leaders and the rulers who are putting up the fence
It’s dens immense and you say you’re talking sense
Bull bull I want to say it full
But people on the radio you know will make a pull
So I try to tone it down to make the whole world know
that the language of my violence will proceed in my show
Flow flow to make the fascist man know
That unity is here and unity will grow

    Open your eyes
    Time to wake up
Enough is enough is enough is enough
Give the fascist man a gunshot

Chumbawamba: I've yet to hear too much of. There I've said it, again!
Art will be the last bastion when all else fades away.

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

.

On a day like no other
In a time unique, in a place divine
Keep your eye on the Ikon
Shining in the light of eternal mind

Tucked away in the darkest cupboard of your heart
There's a feeling you can't let out
In a way you are just a soldier of the mind
You are marching, what are you marching about?
