It Bites!

Watch out!

Kiss like Judas;

So glad you could make it
Bring the slaughter to The Lamb
I may look like some animal
But I am who I am , a man and I love you
And I'm hoping you feel as I do
I cover my face in terrible shame
And open my heart up to you

Look at my friends they're always laughing
Think they're doing alright
Maybe it's me they think they're fooling
It's a general insight
Who knows what you see
Maybe it's lies, all lies

She gave me a kiss like Judas
Crowning the clown on his merry-go-round
She gave me a kiss like Judas
Who wears the crown when your heads on the ground?

So glad you could make it
Beast and Beauty way up high
Cold pains of sanctuary
It helps to make up my disguise
But water, she gave me water, so I gave her the use of my life
Is it the chip on my shoulder
Or the hunch on my back that's as sharp as a knife?
Look at my friends they're always laughing
Think they're doing alright
Maybe it's me they think they're fooling
It's a General Insight
Who knows what you see
Maybe it's lies, all lies

Water, get it when you're feeling low
Who told you that she gave me another
Water, who told you that she gave me another
She gave me a kiss like judas
Crowning the clown on his merry-go-round
She gave me a kiss like Judas
Who wears the crown when your heads on the ground?

Old Man and The Angel;

Cast not thine eyes on what is mine
And leave it all behind
I take thy sight and thy mind
I'm here to lead the blind
And there's a man in my home so I'm never alone
And the place that he's going is the place I call home
But I'll hold out today and try to make the exit in the easiest way

Old Man and the Angel
I said I'm ready for home it's the way to go , let it flow
Old Man and the Angel
Out of the warmth and through the stars up to the cold
Old Man and the Angel
I said I'm heading for home it's the way to go , let it flow
Old Man and the Angel

Take up thy cross and walk behind
You hold it in your mind
Believe not the fear of mankind
Step out of your body and walk away

I trusted my heart and I followed my mind
I gave up resistance and casually died
And He showed me the way
And He led me through the exit in the easiest way

Video angelus internehilium et immortalis
Even as we speak our hearts entwine
Senex et angelus video venestus caelum
Equiden lavare in meus vita empeteus

(Still waiting for) Black December;

I'm really very happy with the love I've found
A faking act of passion on the killing ground
But I'd rather be next to you
It's the only thing left to do

A motivated liquidated nightmare
Like a baby with a laser on a rocking chair
But I'd rather be next to you
So understand my point of view

Who knows the secret of life
Who knows the score
Black December ... little darling

Trapped within a circle of my own creed
I'm sitting dreaming tending to my own needs
But I'd rather be next to you
It's the only thing left to do

In half a day it's over and I lie there
Recall the drama, happiness I've been there
But I'd rather be next to you
So understand my point of view

Who knows The Secret of life
Who knows the score
Black December
Rather be next to you
Black December

I rather enjoyed those lyrics.

What are you listening to right now?

Postby Allegro » Sat Aug 04, 2012 12:24 pm

ninakat, Thank You for the Ravel, right here.
I’m listening to Ma mère l’oye once again,
:) even as I type. Love its orchestration, needless
to say, carefully fitted with pentatonic scale and
smidgens of triple meter.

La Valse I’ve always loved.
It’s that triple meter that gets me going, every time.

Art will be the last bastion when all else fades away.

Trying to keep up with justdrew’s knowledge of discrete pop culture music and documentaries is liken to keeping up with a rocket ship in orbit.
But I’ll take a run at it :) !

An oldie (ha!) but a goodie (also ha!)

Rampant misogyny in this song, but it is worthwhile in it's other elements.

I’m just too fascinated with the human voice!

Refer this post for:

Then, if you wish.

Admittedly, a bit of a change from the skynyrd.

Poor lonely gelflings.

The pipes are calling.
