I don't know if everybody's tired of Scientology-talk yet, but I'm not. The thing I'm finding most interesting about it is how much it connects into other groups and movements. One of the things I've been working on at my site the most is putting together info about all the offshoots of Scientology. So far I've got:

Process Church
Eckankar
Landmark Forum

I'm also working on some stuff about Synanon, Narconon and Criminon. And I want to do some further investigation into the Human Potential movemet and LGAT's. It seems too that a lot of New Age groups either directly or indirectly draw their influence from Scientological ideas.

I also want to get into looking more at the roots of where Hubbard got his ideas. Everybody's heard the Crowley connection by now, but not being a Thelemite, I'm having trouble getting a handle on just what he "stole" from the OTO, conceptwise. There's also the area of Korzybski and General Semantics, which seems like a huge influence. All the writing on it though is really obtuse.

Oh, one other thing I came up with that I thought was interesting was a description of some of the Scientology TR's (training routines). I'd also like to do an extensive comparison of Joseph Smith and L. Ron Hubbard. But I don't know the first thing about Mormonism.

Does anybody have any good ideas for further leads in these areas?
