I don't know about you all, but the last ten seconds of the kiddie-bikini clip in the OP looks isn't sexual, it's fucking aggro and looks painful. I have no idea who the choreographer is but this is ridiculous.

One isn't so much a social problem as awkward teenagers learning how to be less awkward. The other is treating your own children like objects. It's true that even when grown ups have to go through the weird-ass hip and shoulder spasm-thrusts of modern dance they're the same type of object... but they're PAID for doing it, which is already fetishized and at some level acknowledges labor-time involved in 'making' something. well, dance is important and more kids should do it, fear that some theoretical pedo is going to see shouldn't be allowed to ruin that. BUT - why has "dance" become simply a serial recapitulation of pseudo-martial/sexual moves? There's little flow to that routine, just a series of stunts. while I don't care for the style, it's an achievement for them to do as well as they were (anyone else notice the collision?) and I guess that's a good thing.

The onus should be on adult dancers to come up with a modern language of motion that isn't so damn crass.
