Damn right.

This song -- among many others -- reminds me of my father, and my childhood, as he'd sing along to this song (on an 8 track) while driving us to school or a sports game.

[Imperfect English translation]

Blue

All year I'm looking for the summer
and all of a sudden, here it is.
She left for the beach
and I'm alone, up here, in the city
I hear whistling above the roofs
an airplane that is leaving.

Blue
the afternoon is too blue
and too long for me
I remember
not having enough resources anymore
without you,
and so
i'm about to take the train
and I'm coming where you
but the train of desires
in my mind goes the opposite way.

It seems like being at the oratory
with so much sun, so many years ago.
Those lonely Sundays
in a courtyard, taking a walk...
now is more annoying than back then
not even a priest to chat with...

[Italian]
Azzurro
Cerco l'estate tutto l'anno
e all'improvviso eccola qua.
Lei è partita per le spiagge
e sono solo quassù in città.
Sento fischiare sopra i tetti,
un aeroplano che se ne va.

Azzurro,
il pomeriggio è troppo azzurro
e lungo per me.
Mi accorgo
di non avere più risorse
senza di te.
E allora
io quasi quasi prendo il treno
e vengo, vengo da te.
Ma il treno dei desideri,
nei miei pensieri, all'incontrario va.

Sembra quand'ero all'oratorio,
con tanto sole, tanti anni fa.
Quelle domeniche da solo
in un cortile, a passeggiar.
Ora mi annoio più di allora,
neanche un prete per chiacchierar.

And this one reminds me of the time I visited my mother's family in Argentina, as it was a popular song on the radio one of the times I traveled there:

An earlier/older memory, as my father was a huge futbul aficionado -- distant recollections of this song playing in the background when I was a few years old..

Ah, the great Celentano, a man not lacking in self-confidence. Here's my favourite of his, a bizarre thing where he's just making American-sounding noises, but an absolutely bangin' tune, a brilliant record, seriously. I think the only reason it's not more famous is that no one can remember the title.

Adriano Celentano - Prisencolinensinainciusol

Claudia Mori pretending to play the harmonica. Wait long enough and Il Professore's students stand up from their desks and reveal their legs.

I've seen an even weirder version of this song, but it appears to have vanished from YouTube.

ON EDIT: Here it is, on Facespook, a big production number in glorious black-and-white, with Adriano himself pretending to play the harmonica (while dressed, for some reason, and very unconvincingly, as a tramp), and Raffaella Carrà miming the words actually spoken by Mrs Celentano. It is completely fucking nuts.

And while we spoke of many things, fools and kings
This he said to me
"The greatest thing
You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved
In return"

new outbreak of honeypotitis scheduled to hit hard sometime in Summer of '22. Some unvaccinated people projected to suffer tunnel vision without the ability to focus clearly.
