Hey Hey We're all Monkeys! that was a crazy video of (can you dig it) off head.

Nice post, here's a clip:

The future is now
by Sherri B.

It's worth reading the whole article and this one as well, both posts here:

http://www.unknownnews.org/0809-23SB.html

http://www.unknownnews.org/070604a-SherriB.html

On June 4th of 2007 I wrote "Our Exit Strategy." On September 21st of 2007 I wrote "Checklist to Armageddon". Both can be found in my archives (see sidebar). Read them and ask yourselves: Are my friends, family, and neighbors ready for what's coming for them? Are all of my plans in place? If not, then I'm afraid your time has run out.

The big runs on banks and stores hasn't started. Yet. The rampant looting and hate crimes have not escalated to government assigned curfews. Yet. Commonly perpetuated stress or drug related acts of violence haven't happened. Yet. Your money, homes, credit cards, and access to
gas hasn't been completely destroyed. Yet. Bush hasn't launched America's next war.
Yet.

I know that it gets depressing, and there is a bit of positive thinking at the end of the first post when she tells about a guy who thought things were going to fall apart in the Nixon administration and he bailed out and things went ahead..... America, too big to fail...?

Nice clip from the John Stewart show here:

Thanks for the links and pic anothershamus. I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only kid who was into geopolitics, agitprop. I also bored friends and family with my musings on current events at the time and eventually shut up about it. In high school I did a column for the school paper in my junior and senior years called World Watch. I doubt it was read by more than ten people, if even that. I did take some heat for a column I did that suggested Iran would never have become and Islamic theocracy, had the U.S. not overthrown Mossadegh (Mossadeq) and installed the Shah. I think I would have woken up earlier to earlier to deep politics had I been just 5-10 years older during hearings this gentleman held

My brother just told me he had a prophetic dream that's even freakier than mine. Here's the actual IM:

Bro: had a very powerful dream about oct 8th about 3 weeks ago, really freaked me out, then last night listening to coast to coast that date was mentioned

[snip]

Bro: no, but summarize, i was fighting with an evil dark force, it was back and forth, and i thought i had him, when i was about to finish him off, he totally blew me away by pointing to a calendar with his skeleton finger on the 8th of october
Me: Holy crap that's like a caricature
Me: Creepy though
Bro: i backed away, and it was as though he pulled some sort of "fatality" on me or something, it was like a death blow
Bro: cuz i had totally ifnally beaten him, then he pointed to that date and i got all scared and whatnot

I keep seeing this October 7th/October 8th date worming its way through the collective internet fringe consciousness.

A part of me can't help but think the words "Pakistan", and or "Holy shit, seriously, turn on the tv NOW".

It amazing how synched up all of these dates and memes are in the blogosphere. I love how Jeff used the expression 'dreamtime' in his most recent post and have been thinking about how strange the American dreamtime has been, especially over the last 30 years. It seems to me that this slide into bizarro world has really heated up the last few years. Whatever we are going through collectively does seem to have some phases of quiescence but in the 2004-2008 timeframe it appears to me that it has been non-stop. Pakistan 777!

My dreams have been so spectacularly weird lately that it's really starting to affect my waking life.

My wife has been having the same thing happen to her.

It is really starting to feel like the world is melting out from under our feet.

It's difficult to imagine even a month into the future right now. I'm not sure I've ever lived in a time with so much uncertainty, and so much negativity pulling everything down, down, down ....

I just don't know where it's going.

I'm feeling more pessimistic than I have in an extremely long time. Both for myself and for everything around me.

Nordic you hit that one on the spot. The world melting underneath our feet perfectly describes how so many people are feeling right now.

In a few days our spidey sense should kick in big time.

Keep an eye on the Global Consciousness Project. I think they should offer a service, where they watch for anomalies in real time, and send you a text message or something if the random number generators go haywire.

I think there's also a big spiritual event coming. Not necessarily on 10/7, but soon enough (2012?). It will be a good thing.

Well we need a good thing, more good things.

And that Princeton Noosphere...out of all the 9/11 stuff Ive researched, their articles on 9/11 have freaked me out the most. I definitely believe in what they are doing, I don't know how they do it, but I believe it. And I try to be skeptical.

It's not just the "october surprise" specter, its everything...a converging of layers, a snapshot of time, a strong feeling that leads me to feel that entering into 2009, and especially the time leading til May...we will be entering a whole new world.

I hope to my lucky stars we can look back on these threads by then and laugh at how wrong we were.

It is...I remember in 2006 some in the conspiracy blog-o-forum-radio-sphere were saying an attack on Iran, a new 9/11, ect was just around the corner. Nuh uh. I didnt feel it. I didnt buy it. This moment we are in, is the first time since mid 2001 that Ive felt something was really off. If people start having really unsettling dreams and visions, or inklings worldwide...I wouldnt be surprised.

It is bizarro world. Maybe it's being able to perceive the world differently since taking the red pill so to speak(which I did not have when 9/11 occured or sadly til a few years later) But it feels like many layers about to converge...with a big whammy out of literally nowhere that not you, nor I nor anyone could have guessed. And that's scary

zhivkov wrote:Nordic you hit that one on the spot. The world melting underneath our feet perfectly describes how so many people are feeling right now.

Totally. I'd also add, it feels like there's something you can't quite put your finger on...that it looks like reality, but something is amiss. A low rumbling, getting louder.

Yeah my 'spidey senses'...even people I know, feel something is up.
Not once since 9/11 have I felt this heightened sense of impending "something". Not some Y2K hysteria, ...but something genuinely ugly and devestating bubbling beneath the surface...just waiting.
I really wish I could chalk it up to circular feedback loops and what not, but it feels genuine...the calm before a very upsetting storm

If anyone's up for it get some Salvia Divinorum (preferably straight, not the extract), smoke 5 cones in a row and go to the old man on the mountain.

Before you smoke it you have to call on the old guy (probably) and something to get you there. I took an eagle.

When you get there ask the old guy if you can look into the future over the next few months with this idea being what you want to look at.

Salvia is a very feminine thing so the manifestation of the old man on the mountain seems a bit strange IMO, and possibly its one of those internal imagineal structures we can use to access information non locally.

Or he is a real entity in another world/plane of existance with the ability to look at the space time we inhabit from outside so to speak.

This is a serious shamanic exercise tho, so if you haven't done this sort of thing before it might not be for you. And there is no point doing it with any fears about this upcoming event playing on your mind.

My Salvia plant died during the drought and I dunno where to get any (its illegal in Australia) tho I can think of a few spots where we might have planted some. If I can find any there and get it to a consumable state before next week I'll check it out.

Tho for what its worth I ain't feeling a thing at the moment WRT any impending event, and usually I do. The 3 months leading up to 911 were intense for me. Mark B and Blade put out a song "You don't see the signs cos you're blind" and every time I heard it it would freak the crap out of me. (Even tho they were singing about something else.)

I haven't been able to get to the old man with salvia. However some of my friends are brewing up some great micro brew brown ales and IPAs and that has made my anxiety less. Lacking that I have been using the Irish cure, Bushmills. (I am part Irish so I can disparage all I want)

It has been really intense this week. I barely got some of the work I need to get done done. I really do hope it's just in the change of season not a brutal change in culture.

Whoa, you all just described me as a kid as well. Maybe that's one of the common denominators on RI, engagement with this stuff since the age of reason. It's really deeply engrained, so easier to accept more complex answers later on in life.

Joe:

Why not the extract? Is a water pipe de jure? This stuff is legal in many US states including mine, so I'd like to try some before the window of opportunity closes.
