I love it when folks here post images of themselves. I find it fascinating to contrast what they actually look like with my preconception of their "role" on the forum. It is interesting that the only other member I can recall having done so is IanEye himself:

I enjoyed your story, chlamor, like most of your contributions here; and that picture is a classic - pretty ballsy, that's for sure. I'm not certain what further level of involvement one could enter into with Wolfowitz unless the trust and chemistry of some deeper bond permitted access. Those are the moments when that home hypnosis course woiuld have come in handy. I suspect you did what you could do and feel good about it under what must have been unexpected circumstances. What immediately sprang to mind was the thought that had I come that close to, say, Goebbels in a Bierpalast would I have had the courage to blacken his haughty eye with a handy flounder, knowing it would mean jail or rendition?

Unfortunately we can rule out Wolfowitz, as a vampire, you can see his reflection in the mirror...

Ianeye knows nothing about Clamour when he posts his indepth analysis of someone called Mike, but Clamour equally knows nothing of Ianeye and so calling Ianeye a suirming, smarmy apologist for globalist arsewipes is the same thing.

Both are assumptions built out of interactions with a mask, and whatevers hidden is filled in with preconceptions and personal baggage.

But how much of that is a mask?

Or a role you choose to play...

Sort of. It is actually, in that specific photo, my look of "tell me you aren't really trying to sneak a picture, woman, with my own phone no less!"

it is blurred on account of how rapidly I was approaching the picture taker with intent on taking the cameraphone away. I ended up rather liking the photo though, so I forgave her. Which is not to say I didn't punish her accordingly for breaking the rules.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, those shorts are hardcore. I like the style. I have a tendency to overdress, personally, but it actually gets cold where I live. Its probably already colder here now than it normally gets in California. Wonderful autumn. it'll be snowing by Halloween, I think.
