He probably went to Israel to blow the sacred white bull, or was it a red calf, or perhaps a pink elephant....I knew a homeless man once who worshited a hood ornament from a Lincoln Continental. A thousand years from now, maybe the governor of Iowa will come to spread his ashes in his armpits.
Rick Perry is batshit crazy all the way. But he must have seen that poll recently that said 61% of the people would not vote for an atheist for president....which is twice who said they wouldn't vote for a mormon.
Now if that don't tell you how fucked up Amerikay is, nothing will.
See, Rick's plan is to paint Mitt as a closet liberal, and we all know liberals don't believe in god and they all hate our troops and kill babies after bad nights of designer drugs and re-runs of MacGiver where they cuddle with their commie homosexual deviant families.

I can appreciate that perspective. Isn't that exactly what happened the last time Zbig and the Trilateral Commission took an obscure Democrat into the White House? Funny how smooth Zbig was able to segue from Carter's wishy washy single term into support for 12 years of Reagan and Bush.

.

I knew about his politics and policies, and the Christianist rally earlier this month, but now I've seen him speak. It's not just the accent, and the office he's holding, but also the pitch of the voice, the mannerisms, the malapropisms, the pauses and shifty looks to see if his nonsense went over, the phony outbursts of folksy-friendly humor, the doofy smirk, the suit, even the shape of the head and apparent height, All very familiar.

Alex Jones has been and will continue to be - all over Rick Perry, like stink on shit. He has been slamming him for months, and now that he's jumped in, AJ has gone bizerk about him.

As people have pointed out, he seems like a cartoonish take on Josh Brolin's portrayal in "W". It's like a drug induced interpretation of the Dubya satire amped up on steroids. Most GOP candidates
are boring stodgy white guys(and gals) who just seem like they're seat warmers. Romney? Pawlenty?

Rick Perry seems right out of a movie, like an over the top portrayal of a greasy big oil puppet.

WTF is wrong with Texas, anyway? It is like he is going for the Stupid Vote. Them intellectuals may be smart and all, but they don't know god's truth and that there is more to understandin' how the world goes round than can be found in any book, any book; that is, but the good book. We need to get the people out of the way of prosperity. God will sort out the winners and the losers, not the libralz and the phony scientists. Pray with me that we can return to the real america, an amerikkka without laws except the ones we need to control women, gays, brown people and all the poor people who is poor obviously because they are lazy and Jesus said, git over it. amen. Pray to be rich, my friend, and make friends with oilmen, bankers, porno magnates and preachers...and thy path will blossom golden beneath thy feet.

I don't know, but Perry's got a minor pornography scandal that liberals are bringing to light atm.
Perry once invested in company that profited from porn:

And you all are right about the super creepy W similarity. On steroids, as 8bitagent says. At least W as goofy.

Actually, it was 28 years. Funny how people still see Clinton as a Democrat even though he did everything the corporations wanted and paid lip-service to Democratic platforms. My ex (a life-long Repulbican businessman) said he loved Clinton. He would get up on teevee and spout the Democratic line and then, in meat space, continue the corporate, i.e., Repulbican, bs.

Of course, my ex lost out, as all that was really about the CORPORATION, not the millionaire small businessman he was, who lost out to the chain stores. Oh, well.

And, yes, Obama is just a tool of empire. Like the rest of them, and like the next one will be. Whomever it is. God, I hope it's not Perry. :tongout

Which is brilliant propagnda, really. I mean, it just makes him more appealling to the unwashed masses because you know he's going to say, "No."

Wasn't it during Clinton where the Wallstreet deregulation really got put into play? With Larry Summers and then the whole IMF situation?

Maybe they'll run another Bob Dole/Mccain fuddy duddy to ensure an Obama win...or maybe they actually want a theocratic right wing nut to take office. Who knows

Rick Perry is the nearest thing I have seen to Damien Thorn from The Omen.

He gives me the creeps.

He is like Feyd Rautha en route to becoming Baron Harkonnen.
