That was a very interesting programme. My intuition has always been that consciousness is somehow eternal, but this is balanced by a suspicion that the "self" is not, which is itself balanced against Gurdjieff's idea that the soul must be built...

The experiences described on the programme are interesting; I wonder what happens if you don't come back, though... like, what's "day two" all about? Does the self cohere? Are there further transitions?
