Is the ghost of Mitt Romney's ancestor haunting Kendal pub?

A GHOST that is a distant relative of American presidential candidate Mitt Romney is believed to be haunting a newly-refurbished pub.
The mischievous spirit of Agnes Romney has been sighted by staff at Romneys, in Kendal, and has knocked drinking glasses off tables, opened drawers and closed doors.
Her brother is believed to be the great great grandfather of the Mitt Romney, the Republican Party nominee running against Barack Obama.
She was also the first cousin, once removed, of the famous Kendal painter George Romney.
Assistant manager Hennie Kuger, of Kendal, said he had seen the early 19th century ghoul in window reflections and believed she was ‘hanging around her old home’.
The 32-year-old thought sightings of Agnes would end once renovation work at the hostelry on Milnthorpe Road was completed but she ‘keeps making her presence known’.
“I came to England in 2002 and worked here when it was the Kendal Arms,” he said.
“That’s when I first heard stories about Agnes. I’ve never been a believer in ghosts myself but one evening when I was having my meal upstairs in the function room I saw a reflection of an old woman in the window “It was dark outside and in the reflection she looked like a little lady, a bit like my grandma.
“When I looked behind me there was no one there. Agnes used to live up in the top of the building with her sister.”
Mr Kuger said other staff had also reported mysterious goings on at Romneys. He added: “Quite often, late at night, we hear footsteps and sometimes you hear creaking.
“Glasses just fall off the shelf. Once, we filled a bin to prop a door open and when we came back to it the bucket had moved and the door was shut. She also opens drawers.
“I think she’s just hanging around in her old house.”
Martin Orrom, of the Romney Society, said Agnes’ links with the Kendal pub were unclear, as was much of her life.
He said: “I can’t see any link between her and the house in Kendal, although George Romney’s house, where he lived after retirement, is quite close on Milnthorpe Road.”

A Simple Prayer
Adorned in Emperor's Attire,
Parades he Now, the Mormon Messiah.
Shadowed by Spectres from his Past,
Surrounded Now by Hysterical Cast.
A Fortunate Son he Appeareth to be,
Yet Mayhap the Man be not so Lucky.
His Mental Health doth Take the Strain.
The Iron Man Pounds on his Brain.
The Watcher Now doth Turn his Gaze.
The Dancing Torch Light Now Ablaze.
We All Pray his Hopes wilt Tank;
The War Machine he shalt Not Crank.

I'm feeling sorry for Mitt now.
I guess he's under a lot of pressure.
She doesn't look at all like a confident or happy human being.

I don't care for the guy's politics, but I don't want to see him driven mad by them just because I am. Because who would that help?.Two wrongs, etc.

caused by his secretiveness?"

Using only the power of scientific thinking, I proffer the following falsifiable prediction:
Mitt Romney is hiding the fact that the he was one of the 5000 wealthy American tax-dodgers that Swiss bank UBS turned over to US authorities, as part of a USDOJ-brokered 2009 deal, which both fined UBS for hiding rich American's money in a massive tax-evasion scheme, and offered the 5000 rich Americans "amnesty" (from criminal prosecution, trials & prison time), if they paid back the tax revenues they stole from US Treasury during the previous years.
During the 20-year period covered by the PWC letter, Gov. and Mrs. Romney paid 100 percent of the taxes that they owed.

Tuesday night's presidential debate had its "Big Bird" moment.
And it arrived when Mitt Romney answered a question on wage inequality by saying he received "binders full of women" as part of his efforts to find female cabinet members as governor of Massachusetts.
And -- just like Big Bird -- these binders full of women quickly took over the Internet.
In addition to a pretty awesome Tumblr featuring some very literal photos of the phrase (and a revival of a former meme, Texts From Hillary) a handful of parody Twitter accounts quickly popped up.
@Romneys_Binders reached 10,000 followers before the debate was even an hour old by imagining just which women were in these binders...

... and @RomneysBinder also emerged with tweets like, "Americans need jobs. I am now accepting applications for Secretary of the Interior. Good one for the ladies, yes?"
#BindersFullOfWomen also remained a trending topic on Twitter for most of the night and the phrase easily picked up where all things Big Bird left off from the first presidential debate:
