Does anyone actually believe that Tom Fucking Hanks and his wife have coronavirus??

:rofl2

The guy is such a tool. And why I was mainly leaning toward this entire thing being a psyop, Hanks just clinched it for me.

The only thing scaring me at this point is what is the purpose of this psyop? What do they actually have planned? Martial law? During an election year? Suspension of elections (not that our elections are real anyway)?

My main guess is that they knew the economy was cratering in ways worse than 2008 and they need cover/scapegoat. Hell, we’ve known for months the Fed has been pumping billions/day to keep the ship afloat, and the IMF even warned of the impending doom just like they did in 08.

But ... I just had a thought that they’re about to start. Really big fucking war. A hot war.

Welcome back Nordic! Lot of us were gone awhile. Recently I read about Turkey and Russia almost getting into a hot war in Syria...Russia and Saudi Arabia are in an all out oil war to devalue the oil market...and the Pentagon is beginning to pull out some of the near 90,000 US troops around the Middle East given they view Iran's regime is collapsing from the Corona/COVID pandemic

Wombaticus is right in saying whatever is going on, it's going to be providing cover for some terrible stuff. Happenstance coinkydinks, impromptu disaster capitalism run amok, or who knows what else. The fog of what could be pushed through is endless. Trump almost getting us into a hot war with Iran a few days into 2020 was nuts. Kobe Bryants random death was crazy, Zombie Joe Biden coming back from the dead to snatch the nomination was wild and now we're in a reality where feverish "Jade Helm/Martial Law" conspiracies of old might be underselling the coming horror show. I still find it hard to fathom that nearly 61 million Italians are under complete military lockdown, almost a billion Chinese under harsh restriction, Iran completely under military quarantine. And a plummeting stock market/global financial market("Bear" is a nice 1987ish way of putting it) If the Arab spring was a re-allignment, Covid-2020 feels like a seismic shift toward something else.

Welcome back Nordic!

Hi Joe! Thanks for the Vitamin D tip. I would also just suggest as many superfoods and whatever veggies and fruits you can get. It is kind of the key to a good daily diet, but generally not followed...

I live in Saigon, and all schools have been closed here, and throughout most of Vietnam I think, since the start of Feb., but at least some or most are due to open next Monday. I work at home with no connection to Vietnam, so with a more than 50% reduction in traffic and other spinoffs, it's a breeze to walk my dog anytime and I can always get a table in my favorite bistro...A 50 cl carafe of red helps as I read about the world being consumed in manic panic...I am sure the economic backlash will come, so don't blame me for selfishly enjoying life a bit right now...

Manic panic mixed with millenarianism is the age we are living in 8bit, and speaking of "Happenstance coinkydinks", I was in So. California during the Tet or Chinese New Years holiday (end of Jan), and my wife and I had already been invited to a Clippers game before the Kobe Bryant accident. So the game was only a few days after and the area surrounding the arena was packed with memorials and "mourners"...so surreal...

Intended or not, it is inarguably a psyop. Inshallah those curves are flattened quickly, but no matter what happens, actions and reactions are being studied. As this is, after all, a national security issue for each separate nation, it will be a clusterfuck as international capital demands constant flows of both people and materials, on all scales. If I were a one world conspiracist, instead of an enthusiast, I could easily see a contagion, if not this one, then the next even stronger one, resulting in a one-world government with at least some global authorities.

Alas, I feel the whole phenomenon is time speeding up as we approach what will seem to us as its "end". We seem to be at various dead-ends planetwise, whether political, cultural, or environmental, so people are maybe mentally prepared for readily panicking in these "end times". I have actually been reading a lot of Jose Arguelles lately and cannot help but think he was absolutely right about the end of "historical time" in 2012. Maybe there is an unwinding phase as all the shit built up over human history comes tumbling back down all over us. With this contagion crisis, you do get a very keen sense of humans trying to come to grips with our frail existence simultaneously on a world scale. The spinoffs might be much more numerous than 9-11 could ever produce...

re Hanks

Hanks and Rita Wilson announced they had tested positive for the virus on Wednesday night.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson's son Chet took to social media on Wednesday night to confirm his parents had tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

"Wassup everyone. Yea, its true my parents got coronavirus. Crazy," a shirtless Chet said in a video message on social media, in what appeared to be his normal accent.

He added: "They're both down in Australia right now 'cause my dad was shooting a movie down there. I just got off the phone with them. They both are fine. They're not even that sick. They're not worried about it. They're not trippin' but they're going through the necessary health precautions obviously.

"I don't think it's anything to be too worried about. I appreciate everyone's concern and the well wishes. I think it's all going to be alright. I appreciate it. Everybody stay safe out there. Much love.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ ... et-1284188

Don't worry...they're not even that sick...I wonder if he talks to his dad shirtless?

Also, Australia has reported only 127 cases of coronavirus, and two of them (1.6%) are the Hankses...I am guessing there are many more in actuality...

Good to hear from you Nordic, sensible observations you make, it does seem to be a many layered operation, OK psyop, if you want to call it that.

Thanks identity for the Spiros vid. I mentioned in passing in the Epstein thread that the one 'faction' in existence able to impose its will on the whole of the population are the techno-humanists or technocrats.

They, in my opinion, attained this position by virtue of the support of our 10percenter class, the intelligentsia that runs cover for the .1%

These smart people feel that the ends can justify the means, so it's OK to achieve those ends by any means necessary. (Maybe it was part of our 'trade' deal.)

The ideation behind much of this skews liberal. (Though the real operators are anything but liberal.)

It's all great for acting like we care about the lost and left behind, without having actual care for the lost and left behind.

Good boosts for the immune system is to love others, B and D complex vitamins and selenium.
All these things will continue as long as coercion remains a central element of our mentality.

Nordic,

Now is a great time for the wealthy to consolidate, again.
The stock market tanking is awesome for buyers who want to get great prices. It’s easy to see how some can benefit from all this.

The simulation will be over in a few weeks and all the datapoints can be explored to see how the exercise went.

CBS ” 60 MINUTES” documentary on the swine flu epidemic of 1976 in the U.S. It went on air only once and was never shown again. Watch this video documentary and listen to testimony of people who caught Gullian-Barre paralysis because of the swine flu vaccine. They sued the US government for damages. 500 cases of Gullian-Barre paralysis, including 25 deaths—not due to the swine flu itself, but as a direct result of the vaccine. At the time President Gerald Ford, on advice from the CDC, called for vaccination of the ENTIRE population of the United States. The difference now, and what is the REAL danger, we have no questioning media.

Tom Hanks a psy-op? Why? Toward what end? To make people believe COVID is real? To cheer the Italians up?

Not much traffic or commentary on mainstream social media.... Little reaction really. People are too concerned about their kids, their elderly relatives, what vitamins they need, and whether they should go to work.

US: Nationwide lockdown: This how it begans
Written by John Whitehead.
Ron Paul Institute

This is a test.

This is not a test of our commitment to basic hygiene or disaster preparedness or our ability to come together as a nation in times of crisis, although we’re not doing so well on any of those fronts.

No, what is about to unfold over the next few weeks is a test to see how well we have assimilated the government’s lessons in compliance, fear, and police state tactics; a test to see how quickly we’ll march in lockstep with the government’s dictates, no questions asked; and a test to see how little resistance we offer up to the government’s power grabs when made in the name of national security.

Most critically of all, this is a test to see whether the Constitution—and our commitment to the principles enshrined in the Bill of Rights—can survive a national crisis and true state of emergency.

Here’s what we know: whatever the so-called threat to the nation—whether it’s civil unrest, school shootings, alleged acts of terrorism, or the threat of a global pandemic in the case of COVID-19—the government has a tendency to capitalize on the nation’s heightened emotions, confusion and fear as a means of extending the reach of the police state.

This coronavirus epidemic, which has brought China’s Orwellian surveillance out of the shadows and caused Italy to declare a nationwide lockdown, threatens to bring the American Police State out into the open on a scale we’ve not seen before.

If and when a nationwide lockdown finally hits—if and when we are forced to shelter in place— if and when militarized police are patrolling the streets— if and when security checkpoints have been established— if and when the media’s ability to broadcast the news has been curtailed by government censors—if and when public systems of communication (phone lines, internet, text messaging, etc.) have been restricted—if and when those FEMA camps the government has been surreptitiously building finally get used as quarantine detention centers for American citizens—if and when military “snatch and grab” teams are deployed on local, state, and federal levels as part of the activated Continuity of Government plans to isolate anyone suspected of being infected with COVID-19—and if and when martial law is enacted with little real outcry or resistance from the public—then we will truly understand the extent to which the government has fully succeeded in recalibrating our general distaste for anything that smacks too overtly of tyranny.

This is how it begins.

The coronavirus epidemic may well be a legitimate health concern, but it’s the government’s response to it that worries me more in the long term.

Based on the government’s track record and its long-anticipated plans for instituting martial law (using armed forces to solve domestic political and social problems) in response to a future crisis, there’s good reason to worry.

This is not a government with a rosy view of the future.

To the contrary, the government’s vision of the future is particularly ominous if a Pentagon training video created by the Army for US Special Operations Command is anything to go by.

The training video, which provides a chilling glimpse of what the government expects the world to look like in 2030, says a lot about the government’s mindset and the way its views the citizenry. Even more troubling, however, is what this military video doesn’t say about the Constitution and the rights of the citizenry: nothing at all.

In typical fashion, the government seems to consider the Constitution only when forced to do so. It complies with the dictates of the Constitution even less frequently.

Indeed, the government’s efforts to systematically lock down the nation and shift us into martial law have not been stymied one iota by the restraints imposed upon it by the Constitution: when it’s not bulldozing its way through the Fourth Amendment, the government just sidesteps it (with the help of the courts).

So what should you expect if the government decides to declare a national state of emergency and institute a nationwide lockdown?

More of the same of what we’ve been seeing in recent years.

After all, like the proverbial boiling frogs, the government has been gradually acclimating us to the specter of a police state for years now: Militarized police. Riot squads. Camouflage gear. Black uniforms. Armored vehicles. Mass arrests. Pepper spray. Tear gas. Batons. Strip searches. Surveillance cameras. Kevlar vests. Drones. Lethal weapons.Less-than-lethal weapons unleashed with deadly force. Rubber bullets. Water cannons. Stun grenades. Arrests of journalists. Crowd control tactics. Intimidation tactics. Brutality.

This is how you prepare a populace to accept a police state willingly, even gratefully.

We have made it way too easy for the government to lockdown the nation.

It won’t take much more for martial law to be declared, a nationwide lockdown instituted, and the American people to be terrorized into compliance by the government’s latest and greatest scare tactic, even if it means being stripped of one’s constitutional rights at a moment’s notice.

This continual undermining of the rules that protect civil liberties has far-reaching consequences on a populace that not only remains ignorant about their rights but is inclined to sacrifice their liberties for phantom promises of safety.

It may be that we’ve already gone too far down this road. However, don’t let this latest “crisis” cause you to panic to such an extent that you relinquish your fundamental right to make decisions for yourself and your loved ones and willingly surrender what remains of your freedoms.

This too shall pass.

Remember, a police state does not come about overnight.

Yet as I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, no matter how it starts, with a questionable infringement justified in the name of safety or a nationwide lockdown to guard against a global pandemic, it always ends the same: by pushing us one step closer to a future in which the government has all the power and “we the people” have none.

Inevitable. It was only a matter of time before the ubiquitous intel phrase would rear its grotesque head, inserting itself into the mainstream CoV rabble. "Conspiracy Theory". Planting the seeds to misdirect. From the onset, actually.

https://thehill.com/policy/internationa ... irus-wuhan

China, pushing conspiracy theory, accuses US Army of bringing coronavirus to Wuhan

A spokesman for the Chinese government on Thursday promoted a conspiracy theory that the coronavirus was brought to the city of Wuhan by the U.S. military.

"It might be US Army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan," said Zhao Lijian, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Business Insider reported.

The comment, an alternate explanation Beijing is pushing amid global criticism of the country's failure to mitigate the virus, comes as the Chinese government has increasingly disputed widespread international reporting that the virus was first detected in Wuhan.

The conspiracy theory, which has recently gained steam in China, instead suggests the virus was brought to the country in 2019 by U.S. athletes participating in the Military World Games that were held in Wuhan.

Zhao pointed to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield’s acknowledgement in congressional testimony Wednesday that some Americans who appeared to have died from the flu may have died from the virus due to a lack of testing.

"What are the names of the hospitals? It might be US Army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan. Be transparent! Make public your data! US owe us an explanation!" Zhao said in a series of tweets.

YES, there is a mysqli error plague on this board. It's messing up our business!

There are several possible causes.

We incompetents are consulting with competents to figure out what to do.

,

Meanwhile, we all see psyops everywhere, because all events, even true ones, get the psyop treatment.

But I dunno, if I were you guys, with the posts expressing certainty that this is a full-on international hoax, I'd probably say to myself: what's the diff? I'm not going to make one if this is true, not yet. MAY AS WELL WAIT FOR THE DATA TO COME IN.

But, you know, carry on.

.

Here's some, very interesting:

WHO COVID REPORT - VERY INFORMATIVE - MUST READ! https://www.facebook.com/nikos.evangelo ... 5634339481

http://www.reddit.com
r/China_Flu - The WHO sent 25 international experts to China and here are their main findings after 9 days
10-12 minutes
The WHO has sent a team of international experts to China to investigate the situation, including Clifford Lane, Clinical Director at the US National Institutes of Health. Here is the press conference on Youtube and the final report of the commission as PDF after they visited Beijing, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Chengdu. Here are some interesting facts about Covid that I have not yet read in the media:

When a cluster of several infected people occurred in China, it was most often (78-85%) caused by an infection within the family by droplets and other carriers of infection in close contact with an infected person. Transmission by fine aerosols in the air over long distances is not one of the main causes of spread. Most of the 2,055 infected hospital workers were either infected at home or in the early phase of the outbreak in Wuhan when hospital safeguards were not raised yet.

5% of people who are diagnosed with Covid require artificial respiration. Another 15% need to breathe in highly concentrated oxygen - and not just for a few days. The duration from the beginning of the disease until recovery is 3 to 6 weeks on average for these severe and critical patients (compared to only 2 weeks for the mildly ill). The mass and duration of the treatments overburdened the existing health care system in Wuhan many times over. The province of Hubei, whose capital is Wuhan, had 65,596 infected persons so far. A total of 40,000 employees were sent to Hubei from other provinces to help fight the epidemic. 45 hospitals in Wuhan are caring for Covid patients, 6 of which are for patients in critical condition and 39 are caring for seriously ill patients and for infected people over the age of 65. Two makeshift hospitals with 2,600 beds were built within a short time. 80% of the infected have mild disease, ten temporary hospitals were set up in gymnasiums and exhibition halls for those.

China can now produce 1.6 million test kits for the novel coronavirus per week. The test delivers a result on the same day. Across the country, anyone who goes to the doctor with a fever is screened for the virus: In Guangdong province, far from Wuhan, 320,000 people have been tested, and 0.14% of those were positive for the virus.

The vast majority of those infected sooner or later develop symptoms. Cases of people in whom the virus has been detected and who do not have symptoms at that time are rare - and most of them fall ill in the next few days.

The most common symptoms are fever (88%) and dry cough (68%). Exhaustion (38%), expectoration of mucus when coughing (33%), shortness of breath (18%), sore throat (14%), headaches (14%), muscle aches (14%), chills (11%) are also common. Less frequent are nausea and vomiting (5%), stuffy nose (5%) and diarrhoea (4%). Running nose is not a symptom of Covid.

An examination of 44,672 infected people in China showed a fatality rate of 3.4%. Fatality is strongly influenced by age, pre-existing conditions, gender, and especially the response of the health care system. All fatality figures reflect the state of affairs in China up to 17 February, and everything could be quite different in the future elsewhere.

Healthcare system: 20% of infected people in China needed hospital treatment for weeks. China has hospital beds to treat 0.4% of the population at the same time - other developed countries have between 0.1% and 1.3% and most of these beds are already occupied with people who have other diseases. The fatality rate was 5.8% in Wuhan but 0.7% in other areas of China, which China explained with the lack of critical care beds in Wuhan. In order to keep the fatality rate low like outside of Wuhan, other countries have to aggressively contain the spread of the virus in order to keep the number of seriously ill Covid patients low and secondly increase the number of critical care beds until there is enough for the seriously ill. China also tested various treatment methods for the unknown disease and the most successful ones were implemented nationwide. Thanks to this response, the fatality rate in China is now lower than a month ago.

Pre-existing conditions: The fatality rate for those infected with pre-existing cardiovascular disease in China was 13.2%. It was 9.2% for those infected with high blood sugar levels (uncontrolled diabetes), 8.4% for high blood pressure, 8% for chronic respiratory diseases and 7.6% for cancer. Infected persons without a relevant previous illness died in 1.4% of cases.

Gender: Women catch the disease just as often as men. But only 2.8% of Chinese women who were infected died from the disease, while 4.7% of the infected men died. The disease appears to be not more severe in pregnant women than in others. In 9 examined births of infected women, the children were born by caesarean section and healthy without being infected themselves. The women were infected in the last trimester of pregnancy. What effect an infection in the first or second trimester has on embryos is currently unclear as these children are still unborn.

Age: The younger you are, the less likely you are to be infected and the less likely you are to fall seriously ill if you do get infected:

Age % of population % of infected Fatality
0-9 12.0% 0,9% 0 as of now
10-19 11.6% 1.2% 0.2%
20-29 13.5% 8.1% 0.2%
30-39 15.6% 17.0% 0.2%
40-49 15.6% 19.2% 0.4%
50-59 15.0% 22.4% 1.3%
60-69 10.4% 19.2% 3.6%
70-79 4.7% 8.8% 8.0%
80+ 1.8% 3.2% 14.8%
Read: Out of all people who live in China, 13.5% are between 20 and 29 years old. Out of those who were infected in China, 8.1% were in this age group (this does not mean that 8.1% of people between 20 and 29 become infected). This means that the likelihood of someone at this age to catch the infection is somewhat lower compared to the average. And of those who caught the infection in this age group, 0.2% died.

Your likelihood to die: Some people who are in an age group read the fatality rate and think this is their personal likelihood that they will if they get infected. No, because all the other risk factors also apply. Men in this that age group will more likely die than women, people with preexisting conditions more than healthy people, and people in overcrowded hospitals more than those in hospitals where they get the care they need.

The new virus is genetically 96% identical to a known coronavirus in bats and 86-92% identical to a coronavirus in pangolin. Therefore, the transmission of a mutated virus from animals to humans is the most likely cause of the appearance of the new virus.

Since the end of January, the number of new coronavirus diagnoses in China has been steadily declining (shown here as a graph) with now only 329 new diagnoses within the last day - one month ago it was around 3,000 a day. "This decline in COVID-19 cases across China is real," the report says. The authors conclude this from their own experience on site, declining hospital visits in the affected regions, the increasing number of unoccupied hospital beds, and the problems of Chinese scientists to recruit enough newly infected for the clinical studies of the numerous drug trials. Here is the relevant part of the press conference about the decline assessment.

One of the important reasons for containing the outbreak is that China is interviewing all infected people nationwide about their contact persons and then tests those. There are 1,800 teams in Wuhan to do this, each with at least 5 people. But the effort outside of Wuhan is also big. In Shenzhen, for example, the infected named 2,842 contact persons, all of whom were found, testing is now completed for 2,240, and 2.8% of those had contracted the virus. In Sichuan province, 25,493 contact persons were named, 25,347 (99%) were found, 23,178 have already been examined and 0.9% of them were infected. In the province of Guangdong, 9,939 contacts were named, all found, 7,765 are already examined and 4.8% of them were infected. That means: If you have direct personal contact with an infected person, the probability of infection is between 1% and 5%.

Finally, a few direct quotes from the report:

"China’s bold approach to contain the rapid spread of this new respiratory pathogen has changed the course of a rapidly escalating and deadly epidemic. In the face of a previously unknown virus, China has rolled out perhaps the most ambitious, agile and aggressive disease containment effort in history. China’s uncompromising and rigorous use of non-pharmaceutical measures to contain transmission of the COVID-19 virus in multiple settings provides vital lessons for the global response. This rather unique and unprecedented public health response in China reversed the escalating cases in both Hubei, where there has been widespread community transmission, and in the importation provinces, where family clusters appear to have driven the outbreak."

"Much of the global community is not yet ready, in mindset and materially, to implement the measures that have been employed to contain COVID-19 in China. These are the only measures that are currently proven to interrupt or minimize transmission chains in humans. Fundamental to these measures is extremely proactive surveillance to immediately detect cases, very rapid diagnosis and immediate case isolation, rigorous tracking and quarantine of close contacts, and an exceptionally high degree of population understanding and acceptance of these measures."

"COVID-19 is spreading with astonishing speed; COVID-19 outbreaks in any setting have very serious consequences; and there is now strong evidence that non-pharmaceutical interventions can reduce and even interrupt transmission. Concerningly, global and national preparedness planning is often ambivalent about such interventions. However, to reduce COVID-19 illness and death, near-term readiness planning must embrace the large-scale implementation of high-quality, non-pharmaceutical public health measures. These measures must fully incorporate immediate case detection and isolation, rigorous close contact tracing and monitoring/quarantine, and direct population/community engagement."
