Imagine a covert operation arranging September 11 as an inside job. They might have unlimited financial and technical resources, but there are surely limits on the number of fully cognizant participants: How many people can be trusted to know the plot?

Even if we grant a full remote-control flights scenario (plus CD, as you would have it), why would this operation fail to put the designated patsies on the planes? Let's even grant for a moment that they are not hijackers, real or pretend: Would it not be simple enough to hire Arab men to fly cross-country on some made-up pretext? Why would the conspirators fail to arrange to have the names of the men they wanted to blame on the manifests? (To all appearances, they were on the manifests. This tells us how the FBI came up with the names immediately: They don't say they profiled, but clearly, they picked the names of Arab men who were sitting together and made a list. Again, why wouldn't this be something the inside-job conspirators wanted? If the 19 weren't on the planes, then the conspirators would need additional conspirators all over the FBI's largest-ever operation - 3,000 investigators - to collude in manufacturing fictional Arab men. How is that going to work out?)

I'm saying a covert operation to stage 9/11 would attend to basic details and seek to minimize complexity and risk of exposure. The more "found" elements, the better. The alleged allegeds don't have to be hijackers, but they do have to be on the plane and they should, if at all possible, have extremist Islamist backgrounds or associations. (Question: Isn't the trail and agency surveillance of these alleged allegeds at least as relevant to the 9/11 research as, say, the trail of Oswald is to JFK research?)

Also, what's the point of making up the passenger phone calls (which no hijackers would require)? Are the relatives who received these calls lying, or duped? What value would this add to the conspiracy, given that it would require the inclusion of many more conspirators (fake passengers? fake relatives?) for the purpose of making up a superfluous fiction? (The patriotism story doesn't cut it as a reason. The media and govt flappers would have manufactured a boatload of human interest patriot narratives with or without Flight 93.)

What manifests? The airlines never released official manifests for these flights. The only lists we have came from the M$M.
