Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.

If you're really scared of angry white people you can always take comfort in Trump co-opting, diffusing, and demoralizing them.

Sanders seemed easily less despicable than Clinton/Trump but he seems like he was mostly a decoy/pipe dream now.

I don't think Trump can win, but I also think a Trump win would be pretty terrible for his base, given their narratives and needs. Way easier to keep up the People's Hero charade when you've lost. It's definitely the best outcome for The Donald as a brand.
