If this was applied in an even handed fashion and not just when certain posters with a seemingly limitless amount of time to steer threads their way are put in the crosshairs, people might not feel the urge to discuss the discussants.

Unfortunately, we can't be in every thread. When you feel that a post is abusive, please use the report feature. That is how I became aware of the issue in this thread. We try to be even handed, but we can only react to what is brought to our attention, either when we read a thread, or when it is pointed out to us.

**For syncrmystic/high weirdness discussion-minded purposes only**

Can RI slooths (that' the plural of slooth, cousin Vinny) help explain this anamoly, currently the focus of a top post on another forum with a fancy banner?

1) Go to Google's cache of the 'Newton Bee' breaking news piec datestamped the day of the incident and read carefully, typos and all. Save a copy if you're extra paranoid and not under LE orders to disregard conspiracies.

2) Explain WTF is up with that? Has anything more incriminating from an eyewitness been put forth in the public domain since a BBC reporter "called" Building 7 in advance, or the MSM-reported cell phone "calls" from hijacked flights on 9-11?

Thank you,

you mean this:
Sandy Hook School Principal Dawn Hochsprung told The Bee that a masked man entered the school with a rifle and started shooting multiple shows – more than she could count – that went "on and on."

the quote is mis-attributed, they probably were confused about who they were talking to and assumed it was the principle, who's name they looked up.

Yeah, that's me. My little feeling gets hurt.

I view the use of the report function as a minor favor to the mods. When I was a mod, I always enjoyed seeing a thread get flagged. It made me feel... I don't know... needed somehow.

I wonder how many guns there really are in the US, though. Around 2008, there were 310 million privately owned non-military guns in the US. In the following four years, an average of 12 million new guns were sold each year, so we're conservatively looking at a current total of around 350 million private guns in this country. Of course, that figure only accounts for legally purchased weapons, as it's calculated through the number of background checks called into the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and obviously illegal gun sales don't get entered there, or guns kept by military personnel, or police weapons, or antique guns. So I'd bet that the most commonly reported numbers are probably low by at least half.

There are seven guns that I know of held by members of my immediate family at the moment, which is insane if you know anything about the members of my immediate family. And held rather quietly at that. It's not the kind of thing that everyone talks about. My rule of thumb is: even when someone tells you they don't own a gun, they might anyway.

A typo at the Newtown Bee?? Incredible. Isn't the Bee internationally renown for their fact-checkers and investigative reporting?? Seriously, though, I thought they issued a correction on that rather quickly. But who knows? Maybe she's really still alive and they buried an empty casket on Wednesday and then shipped Ms. Hochsprung off to some secret faux-victim relocation program or something.

What are you thinking might have happened there? Spin us a scenario.

For those that believe this may be the latest psyop(which I do not necessarily disagree with actually) why does it need the physical role of multiple agents?

Who is to say these kids aren't somehow triggered? Not a single trace back to any smoke filled spook ops rooms if it simply appears the kid literally "acted alone".
It's why even if there was no evidence of a second shooter, I'd still find Sirhan Sirhan innocent.

another burial at sea it seems:

Gun maniac Adam Lanza to be cremated in secret
23 Dec 2012 00:01

There will be no ceremony for the 20-year-old and his remains will be hidden.

School gun maniac Adam Lanza is to be cremated in secret to stop hate mobs targeting his remains.

Instead, his body is set to be disposed of discreetly and then hidden, the Sunday People can reveal.

The secrecy surrounding what happens to his remains is similar to that of the mass murderers behind the 1999 Columbine High School killings.

Last night Lanza’s body was still in the custody of police officials, who are refusing to reveal any funeral or disposal arrangements. . . . .

Sources said Lanza’s businessman father Peter and 24-year-old brother Ryan have not yet claimed his body.

They apparently wanted to get the funeral of his mother Nancy – who he killed before his school rampage – out of the way before their thoughts turned to making his arrangements.

Nancy has already been secretly cremated in a service attended by a couple of dozen family and friends.

If the family do not claim Lanza’s body or refuse to identify him, then it is police protocol to record that no next of kin can be found.

A funeral home would then provide a list of volunteers willing to take custody of the body through the courts.

The remains would be buried or cremated with just over £1,000 of government money.

The families of the Columbine killers Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, who murdered 12 students before committing suicide, have never revealed their final resting place.

This does not surprise me.

I think one's still being spun by the perps as we write, in order to counter increasing Internet speculation on this case most of which I believe to be completely unfounded. I wasn't a reader of the Newtown Bee before today so I can't vouch for their track record. As far as 5 W's journalism goes we can't rule out that the correspondent wasn't told they were speaking to the former principal, whether or not she had been alive at the time of writing. In fact that's exactly what The Bee's retraction spells out here. They don't go on to speculate whom the woman might have been, so you may have an indirect point about their journalistic ambitions.

I don't read People magazine and absent any evidence to the contrary I don't accuse them of participating in a cruel hoax. The anomaly remains to me an anomaly because of the way the retraction is worded.

justdrew wrote:the quote is mis-attributed, they probably were confused about who they were talking to and assumed it was the principle, who's name they looked up.

The retraction explains why they might have been under that impression. Remember any initial reports about Adam Lanza's mother being a teacher at the school when that quickly became doubted, as she didn't show up in a list of staff posted on the school's website? Who fed that information to the MSM, or where might they have found that tidbit?

Lupercal wrote:another burial at sea it seems

A British tabloid paper 'revealing' to the world that Adam Lanza's body will be disposed of in secret scooping all the U.S. overnight. Was an anonymous burial granted to any other "lone nut" killers in modern American history, even the worst of the worst? Is this now a requirement in the Internet age of infamy, to add speculative fuel to fire?

The reference to the Harris/Klebold familes is cryptic in that we're told they will never reveal the location, not that they were never involved in the rites.

Do the Lanza's fear some kind of black magick ritual taking place with the decomposing body of their kindred more than the just shadowy strawman hate groups created just for us to imagine targeting his presently non-existent grave somehow?
