Thanks for collecting these refs to the earliest implimenting of the coordinate technique.

I think this goes to Vallee's ideas about the need for a "Physics of Information" as described in his TedX Talk and in his 1979 book MoD Messengers of Deception:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9pR0gfil_0

And I've always been reminded of Vallee and the coordinate system in my day job's use of "Random Shelving":

I borked that up a bit: like most discoveries, it was a slow and sloppy process...

Via Jim Schnabel's "Remote Viewers"

pg. 101 – 3rd paragraph – “According to Swann the answer came to him one evening in April 1973, as he lounged in a swimming pool, drinking scotch, at his apartment complex in nearby Mountain View. A voice in his head said, “Try coordinates.” As in geographical coordinates. In other words, Puthoff and Targ, instead of telling him the target, could simple give him the target’s precise latitude and longitude.”

With failure looming ahead, I began to think again of the remote viewing models -- that there ought to be a way to get around their obvious limitations.

The problem involved how to give a viewer something pertinent to the distant location to focus on, but which would not cue him or her in any way.

I consulted a number of scientists outside of the SRI orbit, but not far away, in Silicon Valley. No one could recommend anything. But Dr. Jacques Vallee recognized the problem was one of "addresses."

If I remember correctly, he said that you need an address that gets the perceptual channel to the right place, exactly as one needs a street address to find a house, or an address menu code in a computer to find and call up the desired information.

I considered remote viewing vital enough, and preliminary work at SRI had already begun suggesting its repeatability, as had been shown back at the ASPR. There was only this hated problem of utilizing it.

I had rented an apartment in Mountain View for the duration of the eight-month project. The complex of the apartments had two very nice swimming pools.

In an early evening of the second week of April 1973, I took a bottle of Scotch and a bucket of ice and floated alone in one of those pools. I had only one thought in mind -- how to transcend the problem of utilizing RV for espionage purposes.

How to got the viewer to the distant site without cueing him. Finally I was so tanked up that I had to hold on to the side to keep from sinking.

Then --I hoard a voice speak-- outside of my head at about six feet above it and to the right side. It said two words.

"--Try coordinates--."

Don't ask how this came about. I can't explain it.

By this was meant geographic coordinates, of course -- longitude and latitude. Well, this --was-- how seafarers found their way around the oceans, and how locations were identified on maps.

Yes, Vallee had been right. A coordinate --was-- an "address."

An Exclusive Interview with General Albert Stubblebine – “Men Who Stare at Scapegoats” – #176
September 14, 2013

This episode is an exclusive interview with General Albert Stubblebine and is being released on Saturday, September 14, 2013. This interview with General Bert was recorded Friday, September 13, 2013.

General Bert is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy (West Point, class of 52) who enjoyed a distinguished 32 year career in the U.S. Army. He retired as the Commanding General of the United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Prior to this assignment he commanded the US Army Electronics Research and Development Command (ERADCOM). During his active duty career he commanded soldiers at every level. After his retirement he served as the VP for Intelligence Systems with BDM, a major defense contractor. He has brought these experiences to leading-edge medical research and development in collaboration with his wife Rima E. Laibow, M.D
He is a long-term out-of-the-box thinker who redesigned the U.S. Army’s Intelligence Architecture while serving as the Commanding General of the U.S. Army’s Intelligence School and Center. This intelligence restructuring earned him his place in the Intelligence Hall of Fame.
Among his other accomplishments, he participated in a special task force which defined the requirements of the U.S. Army for future conflict. Many of the innovations he developed helped the U.S. to conduct the First Gulf War effectively and swiftly with a very low casualty rate.
Having defended his country for 32 years and having then worked for the remainder of his career to build better ways of being and becoming well, Bert is determined not to let the forces which are threatening American’s health freedoms prevail. Formerly a warrior for America’s military, now he is a warrior for America’s health and personal freedom.

Anybody know more about Christina England as referenced at the 39:26 mark in this video? I find links in RI past to someone with that name:

He's suggesting that Aldous Huxley was leading MK-Ultra. It looks like the website of "Christina England" was recently hacked: canadianliberty.com

Speaking for myself, I have given up on Gnostic Media as a credible source of information or worthwhile use of my time. Way too many grossly absurd and obviously unfounded conclusions being jumped to, IMO, coupled with a highly belligerent and insulting host.

Please pardon me for not addressing your specific question and I admit that I have not listened to the show. Perhaps there is some wheat in there, but I find the chaff to be simply overwhelming.

No offense taken Joao. I'm finishing up listening to the interview right now and haven't found it to have much if any helpful info ... other than perhaps this allegation re: huxley/mkultra and Rima's promotion of this Christine/Christina England's ideas about same as well as autism.

...so Dennis Wheatley was on to something all along .....interesting case of ( unofficial ) military use of the paranormal....

Operation Savage Revenge: The secret post-war SAS mission to track down Nazi monsters who killed their comrades - using ruthless terror and even harnessing the occult

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... rades.html

On one occasion they even called upon the spirit world, setting up a Ouija board on a table in Villa Degler’s candle-lit drawing room. Numbered playing cards were laid out, and the letters of the alphabet. An upturned glass was placed in the middle.

Suddenly the glass spelt out a name, ‘F-o-r-d-h-a-m’, followed by ‘I was killed at Cirey’ - a village in the Vosges. The ‘message’ revealed that he was an Allied airman whose bomber had crashed. He and another crew member were captured and made to dig their own graves before being shot.

The next morning, the team sped off to Cirey, where locals took them to an unmarked grave. When they dug, they turned up two bodies.
The Ouija board also identified the German responsible for the shootings. The team ran him through a registry of suspected war criminals and discovered a man by that name had been in the Gestapo. He was arrested.

Horrified, the War Office threatened to court martial the team for unbecoming conduct in taking advice from the spirit world, but Barkworth and his men shrugged off the complaints. They had uncovered a war crime, after all, even if not directly linked to Operation Loyton.
